PCM 2016 DB

I'm pretty sure you've just installed the v1 in the wrong directory. That is a RAR file IIRC, so you might have to pay some more attention to where you extract the files. That has to be the folder where you can find the PCM executable.

When you extract the files, are you supposed to extract them into your downloads folders for PCM 15 and then install them into the PCM 15 file location in in C drive, Program Files (x86), PCM 15 folder in the corresponding locations according to the install directions? Or are you supposed tp extract them straight into the save location for PCM 15? If it doesn't work its no big deal really, the only thing that bothers is s the incorrect names, the jerseys don't bother me....but theres no way I can get the names to fix without installing EVERYTHING which then causes the DB to crash when I try to open it because of the issue with the jerseys. I also attempted to install the Variant DLC instead of the PCM16 DB but the Variant DLC wont install either...I keep getting an error when it hit certain stags (example: Japan Cup stages) saying the files don't exist.

There's a FAQ thread in this same forum section that should clear everything up. You're supposed to extract the files inside the main folder for PCM, which generally is Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/PCM 15 or Program Files (x86)/Cyanide/PCM 15. After that, the V1 is installed. Then reinstall all the versions that came later, so v1.1, .2 and v2 because their files have been overwritten.

So this may be where I'm having the issues...I re-extracted everything in an attempt to start over, I extracted them all directly into the PCM 15 install folder in Program Files(x86), Cyanide, PCM 15. In the directions for the 2016DB it says to copy the contents of the Program Files folder into this PCM 15 folder in Program Files (x86)...but I'm getting no overwrite prompts like the install diresctions say ill get. So here is my question: in the 2016DB program files folder there are all the folders that come with it, ill use the 3D folder as an example....when installing this into the PCM15 folder where the game files are located, is this supposed to be copied into the EXISTING 3D folder that came with the game OR are all of these folders supposed to have their own folders (so ill end up with 2 3D folders etc)? I think this may be where the issue is occurring. I read through the FAQ and it doesn't really provide any other troubleshooting option besides what is listed in the install directions. And because I'm not getting the overwrite prompts that says would happen, I think my computer is copying these files into the wrong areas instead.

Figured it out I believe. It was due to some system error. My laptop wasn't overwriting the files like it was supposed to, never even asked me if I wanted to. Instead, It was just creating duplicate photos. I just went through and spent the last hour manually installing them all in the correct places and now the jersey photos are showing up and my DB editor is no longer crashing. I'm going to go through and install the other updates one by one and hopefully itll all continue to work!

Just to clear this up, you don't need to have a 3D folder inside another, just make sure the files are overwritten when merging the 3D folders.
