In most languages, Netherlands official name is literally Holland though, so while getting UK/England wrong should be case for beheading, Netherlands/Holland is far more acceptable
And it's not like your government cares having holland.com as your main tourist info website.
England have played absolutely terribly for all 3 games but still find themselves 2 points clear at the top of their group. Only Scotland away as a potential banana skin. Hopefully Scotland, Slovakia and Slovenia keep taking points off each other and we can qualify by winning our home games.

This is gonna be another repeat of Euros and World cup I can guarantee it
England get insanely easy group, wins and draws all games. Plays shit but still somehow gets confident. Crashes in group stages.
Seeing as that's what has happened for the last 20 years it's not that hard to predict
The England team is absolutely rubbish at the moment.
How Jordan Henderson is an international footballer is beyond me. He can't control a ball, pass more than 10 yards, tackle, head a ball or shoot. He can't even take a corner.

England - Scotland tonight. The oldest international game in history.
England should have too much quality but you would have said the same about Iceland, Russia, Slovakia & Slovenia in the last few months.
England to win 1 or 2 nil.

Danny Blind logic: We're in trouble to qualify for the worlds, and we have to win every game. Let's use some 17 year old central defender who has hardly played 300 professional minutes in a first team just to avoid having to use two central defenders who are better with the left foot.
In case anyone's wondering why the Netherlands suck lately, here's why.

There is really no logic to be found in any of Blind's choices. The man is...............blind.

Its not the coach its the team, mediocore at best, no world class player, plus no van Dijk - de Vrij to hold the defence
They have one world class player. Robben surely the third best player in the world over the last 10+ years behind the two extraterrestials. And if he could've stayed healthy he'd be right up there with them.
Saddly enough for the dutch the coach's son is their second best player by a mile.

I've already accepted the descent into mediocrity a long time ago. However there's a big difference between mediocrity and using a 17 year old with 5 games at the highest level, even though there are injuries. Besides, with nearly the same mediocrity we got to the world semis, beating Spain with 5-1 on the way.
In any case there's nothing I can do about it, maybe I should just stop ranting until Blind is finally gone. And Van Breukelen is gone. And the KNVB decides to actually make some good policy (contrary to the current Hiddink-Blind-Koeman soap). Where's Van Gaal when you need him
