No, you cannot use v26 with PCM2016. It will crash.
Foreign keys are not the problem. |

I am not sure what you want to know.
It took me only 1 hour to make it read databases from PCM2016.
It took me a little longer to release it but the problems will start now, as you can see in this thread.

Here's a weird thing... i've used your editor to extract the db, then i opened DYN_cyclist.xml in Excel to do mass editings, then save it a DYN_cyclist.xml.. so far, so good.. but when i go to re-open the file in excel later, the columns CONSTANT and gene_sz_soundname have been moved to the end of the table. EVERY TIME. And, of course, when i go to build a cdb, it crashed the editor coz the columns aren't in the right order... Any idea how to solve that??
Also, for some reason just once it did not move the columns, so i was able to build a db but when i went to test it, PCM says not the orignal db, not taking any responsibility for errors etc... and i go to click "ok" but nothing happens... |

You should not save xml files in excel, as excel can't save them in the standard cyanide uses for them. If you want to edit tables in excel, you should copy paste them to the db you took them from using excel editor.

It's an editor (made by Lachi again) that lets you edit xml files in Excel directly without having to use Lachi's Editor interface. You can find it in the pcm 16 dl section under edtiros.

However... so now the DB builds and it's all good.. i rename it official blah blah, stick it in the appropriate folder and still get stuck on the "non official db", pressing ok and nothing happens... |

Yeah, that button is non responsive when it gets clicked. Only solution is waiting for cyanide at this point...

ok so.. I've narrowed down the problem.. it works all fine except if you edit anything in the gene_sz_firstlastname column and the charac_i_mountain column. Everything else edits fine and you don't get that stupid non-responsive button... |

Here's the solution (found on pcmvillage.net):
1 - once you've edited your db with whichever editor, save it as OfficialRelease.cdb in your new set of folders in \Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2016\Mod\mydbfolder (or whatever you wanna call your folder)
2 - open the db with the official db editor
3 - save the db (overwrite it)
and there you go, no "this is not an official db" message and no non-responsive "ok" button |

I have released v29.
It only contains a small update for DYN_season_targets.
Could be useful if you want to edit the leaders of your team in the career. |

Lachi, do you think is possible to use the filter option, and "call" several ID at the same time.
For example, in the DYN_leader_program, there is only 3 column:
- IDleader_program
- FkIDcyclist
- fkIDrace
Is it possible to use the filter for the IDcyclist and show only IDs 102, 245, 845, etc... (for example) but at the same time ?
If not, do you know a way to do that ?
Thank you.
EDIT: your Excel Editor Tool makes the job perfectly, thank you.

I have released an update which has only minor changes.
You can filter for multiple items, for example finding 3 cyclists DYN_leader_program.
As before, you have to select the column first. (In this example fkIDcyclist).
Then select "Contains" and in the next box, you have to enter the IDs separated with a comma. (Example: 102, 245, 845) |
