New in Version 8
Cylist Planning & Objectives
View for each cyclist what races they have done, what races are still on their planning. You can also see their Objectives. In both these screens you can also see the outcome of the race for the selected cyclist
View per Race what cyclists have it as Objective
The AI does not plan their riders for the entire season, but with this view you can see what cyclists have the race as their objective, So you know what cyclists are likely to enter this race.
Cyclist History screen
See what team in which year the cyclist was riding for, also see how many wins, gt stages and monuments won the cyclist had in that year
Updated cyclists popup windows
From the cyclist popup window you can now navigate directly to the Planning, Objectives, Palmares and History of the cyclist

Sorry to ask, but, is there any editor to edit a carreer file??
I use lachis, but I don't know if its a problem with my file or the editor doesn't work for that, this one as I understand, can only be used for viewing purposes, am I right?
Or can I edit rider stats?

You can use pcm fast editor to edit savegames if Lachi's Editor isn't working for some reason. You can find it under editors in the PCM 11 downloads section.

I have some issues, it gives me an error when clicking on transfers, calendar or salary expenses, and the objectives don't seem to work, neither from races nor from cyclists. It's probably a problem on my end though, do you know what could cause it?

There were a few issues indeed, I think most of them come due to some incorrect entries in the database itself (wrong ID's that link to nowhere). But I've now updated the code so it does not crash anymore and just ignores the broken links in the database.
When you open the tool you will be asked to update to a new version, version 9.0.0.2 should fix your issues |

Change Team and National Team
You can now change the team and the national team that you manage
Changing national teams is only possible between 1/feb and 1/jun.
Change game date
you can change the game data (back or forward). The date will be udpated as well as the "last stage" and "next stage" parameters
Automatically plan objectives in cyclist schedule
With this option you can automatically update all schedules of your cyclist to include the objectives that you have set for them
Choose new sponsor for next year
You can now select one of the available sponsors as your new sponsor for next year (even if your current sponsor contract is not ending this year) you choose on what salary budget the sponsor budget will be based and you select the duration of the contract. (option only available before 25/oct)
Multiple stability and performance updates
different updates to prevent crashes of the application and merged code for faster loading of the different detail screens |

BTW about going back in time, a way to improve it and avoid bugs, would be erasing the data of the previous stages in dyn_race and stage_classifications as well as dyn_palmares. Not sure how doable that would be

An interesting thing to think about.
I would need to loop over all stages, get their date and see if they are within the newdate-olddate range. if so, remove their results, and if we move back to before the start of a race, we need to remove the dyn_race_classifications for that race as well. it's doable but it might be some work I wasn't aware that there were issues going back (never tried it) I only knew that the fkidcurrent & fkidlaststage needed to be filled in correctly |
