Yeah missing goals is not pleasant but atleast we got a nice amount of points.

A busy start to the season as we took part in the first stage race of the calender year. The Tour Down Under is a C1 race so we knew we were going up against heavy competition. Pozzato and Barbin were free to go for it on the hillier finishes while the other riders tasks was to be aggressive joining breaks.
It was Barbin who showed that he can compete at this level as he finished behind Reimer and Kump to take 3rd on the uphill sprint in stage 2. He tried his best on the other stages but dropped down to 11th overall. A decent result that was honest when comparing him to the riders that finished above him. Würtz and Walker showed our colours in early breaks but a bit of a shame that we missed the break on the last stage which was succesful and could fight it out for the stage win.
William Walker showed himself to the local fans in his home race.
Barbin showed his strengths on stage 2 as only the top punchy sprinters finish in front of him.
January Overview
Only 2 races in and our first month is already done. A decent start without extraordinary results but good enough points-scoring wise. Keeping steady at over 10 PPRD all season should mean that we reach our Top 10 goal.
