Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (1.HC) is a new classic this 31st January 2016. Would be fantastic if you add in PCM.daily DB fot the 2016 DB
EDIT: I was wrong. In 2015 was the first edition. The podium was:
1. Gianni Meersman
2. Simon Clarke
3. Nathan Haas |

@Lofkvist
I don't quote your message as it takes forever to load all images ^^
I'm Asturian, so i can give you many tips to improve the stage:
1-I live in Oviedo, and it looks more similar to a northern Europe city than to other spanish towns. Instead of these buildings, i'd choose Tall buildings, and maybe sometimes an 'old style' building, nut never little houses. The rest of the villages of Asturias, combine little houses and old buildings. And avoid withe houses, this is not Andalousia
2-The climate in Asturias is not as in the rest of Spain, it rains a lot and it's cold. It's similar to England's one, so i'd go for 'England' textures, or maybe Alps.
3- In less than 500m altitude, there are big countryside, with only pasture (for cows, if you want to add some). It's not usual seeing more than pasture, but sometimes there's some maize.
4-In 500-800 altitude, very deep forest, with a high tree density, but never with fir trees. You can use beech, apple trees, oaks, limetrees, chestnuts, broadleaved,
5-800 and higher, more countryside or bushes for high alititude
6-Far from discussing if narrow roads are bad or good, i think you made too much narrow roads. I know well the the route (as i made it), and there are at least 2 lanes in the majority of the route. In addition, some roads are broad enough to be 3 and even 4.
I don't want to irritate you, i only want to help you as i live just there

IIRC it is in the expansion pack already. |

It was indeed. If it weren't the stage file wouldn't be hard to find anyway.
Also, I don't want this thread to turn into a thread for making requests to the DB makers of races to be added. It's meant as a call for stage makers to work on stages we need.
If you want to request races to be added to the DB, you can always request it in PM to me and we might consider.

Too bad my stage does not like it, or does not correspond to the true environment of Asturias.
Unfortunately, I've never been there (I'm from Germany), had me there but somehow different than it is in reality.
@ Samu12
I've done the zcts file with this and would ask you, if you have the time for it to correct my mistakes.
Unfortunately, I do not know when I had the time for it. Thank you in advance for it.
@all
For this reason, I will not publish the 2nd stage, but give you the GPX file.
Possibly Samu12 has the time they create around exactly.
I am concerned with self-created stages rather about the correct route, less concerned with the correct environment. But I'm apparently because the only one who thinks so. Sorry. |

The Tour of Japan is done and uploaded to the stage database. In the last stage I used some IBs that I think were not part of the official release, but could have been from the expansion pack. I am not sure about that though.

Actually, I am the same. I even used to make stages for myself totally without any surroundings. Often when I am in the middle of playing a stage, I get into the game so much that I don't notice what is happening off the road. |

I said only tips, didn't want to disturb. Your stage is not bad, it could be better, yes, but as togo said, decoration isn't the most important thing, so your stage is OK and can be well played.

I made some gpx files for a few races. They can be downloaded at the bottom of the Openrunner page. Links are in post #1. Might add some more later on.
Chrono Champenois 2015
Betheny - Betheny, 32.40 km - Download
Not my most impressive piece of work (no IBs except churches), but it's not the most important stage, so it should do. Have had to cut the distance a little because the finishing riders would otherwise stop after the start line, which I didn't want.

I had hoped this was quite clear

Added some more links with more detailed routes, if I have the possibility to I'll try to add some more later this week, but it's not extremely likely.

La Roue Tourangelle is done and uploaded to the stage db. I didn't test it yet, but will do shortly. |

So finally the race with perhaps the longest name (La Roue Tourangelle Région Centre - Trophée Harmonie Mutuelle) have a correct parcour, not that cdx-file stuff.
I tested it and it runs very well. No hick-up or technical issues. Well done. My test race nearly had the breakaway of 3 riders coming home, but in the last K the peloton and Bryan Coquard caught them.
So comments besides the parcours is me as always looking for that overall experience, so perhaps 2-3 IB houses along the route and the odd farm, old stony wall, wild horses (I know not in the standard version) or cows perhaps. Nothing important for the race.
Still those auto-villages sometimes produce very strange results to be sure. Very large empty areas that of course could be filled with IBs and since you included the very vital zcts-file whoever have time and lust can fix that.
Found this on youtube so to get the correct atmosphere in a rainy France

Great creation Togo95. My compliments
Forgot to say that it works very well in pcm14 too, without any editing.
No spline descriptions, which is the biggest culprit.

Thanks for testing and commenting on the stage clamel
I agree about the IBs and would like to include more. I am aware that I rush the final touches to the stages. After doing all the rest I am usually kinda bored of designing by that time
Anyway if no one else feels like doing it, I would take on the Vuelta Mexico next. |

Great!
I may have misplaced the starts and finishes in Mexico a slight bit, but in general I've tried to be as accurate as possible.
Also readded Asturias st2, as it doesn't seem like Lofkvist is going to do it unfortunately
