I think you got a mix-up among your files for Tirreno
The zcts file for stage 1 is in fact the cds file
top_adriatico_01_v4.cds
same as
top_tirreno_01_v4

Could you put the correct zcts file up ??

And hey my request for Schaal looks to have been taken by SN, in the other thread.
So guess that could be scratched mate

Let me comment on your Tirreno. I tested the first 2 stages, and I understand you are pressed for time.
The landscape looks more like back home in Australia. Reddish surface and desolate as in the Outback or the Moon.
You might have forgotten to change area after making TDU...

Still I found not a single house or connecting road between the cities and even Modena was wiped out starting the 2nd stage.
Something looks wrong with your mountains and the approach on the 1st stage is very strange. You need to level it out.

This will take tons of works and hours to make pleasant, but it got potentials to be sure. So I hope you take time and heart to pimp up the stages and fix the surface and the other things clearly missing.

Keep on working on it mate .... and good luck to you

I know the distance is "a bit out", but all those small villages aren't worth it to my opinion! Pfft

hm not very nice said mate.. Rolling Eyes

Hi everyone!

Ever heard of the channel islands? Some probably won't. Well, it are some islands close to the coast of France.
I have made a 'fantasy classic' on one of the two bigger islands. It is 254 kms long, but has no notable climbs, so a sprinter stage!
Take a look in the stage database to check it out if you're interested! Wink

Based on Jersey, I presume?

Ok mate, you worked hard with IBs on this one. Perhaps a bit too much on some points. The London busses (on mass) should perhaps be deleted. We are on Guernsey after all Wink. Try building up those smaller IB cities a bit tighter, not with long strings of wallhouses, with nothing beside it.

that is building artworks of small villages entirely on IB houses. A truly great way to learn how to enhance your stages, and you don't need to understand french. Just look at the pictures.

Just trying to give you the next step to "building" stages and making them even closer to Real Life

Not sure you might know more about Guernsey than I (next to nothing), but sometimes Google Earth can give a very good picture on how to add those IB houses on the smaller villages. It helps to be sure.

As you might understand I value the pure feeling of a race just as much as the parcour in itself. It is like watching some races on the TV. If the racing gets dull you might get wonderful scenery views from the helo to help it along.

Anyway, the race is promising sprinting stage. Well suited to include in a British Cycling series, but perhaps a bit shorter distance. But all this a doable thanks to included zcts files.
So great thanks for the race mate. Keep up your work Banana
