Hopeless from Trentin and Steeurs. Stake Laengen putting in a good shift, but this will only be about stages now..

Well that didn't exactly go according to plan.
Drucker lost 7 mins and is now out of contention, I'm surprised he couldn't keep up with the group in front.
But more strangely, how did 59Cob Manan end up as my only other survivor of that stage when Zafferani has 70Cob, did something happen to my Sammarinese rider with the rest of the team looking after him or something as surely with 70Cob he should have easily stayed in the race to support Drucker on the next stage.
Hopefully Drucker can improve and gain some time back tomorrow but I doubt it will be as selective.
The team classification made me laugh, not only are we somehow ranked with 2 riders but we are not last, maybe PCM feels sorry for how bad a season we are having.

Crucial moment for a puncture. Hoped for more and Boonen seemed to be strong enough for it. He still had Flaksis with him who propably helped limiting the gap to the front and I'm very sure he would have earned a gap towards Boom (and possibly other riders as well). He might not have won this stage anyway but i reckon he would have stayed in reach for GC due to bonus seconds and advantages in the concluding TT.
Let's move to the positive aspects:
- Good team performance with Flaksis keeping up long into the race and Ingels good as well
- Third in GC is still possible
- The best two stages for possible stage wins are next

Declerq is the way better TTer, so if he can keep up tomorrow too, that isn't even terrible.
Still, Daniel lost a lot of the respect he gained in GW. Are you fucking serious? You nearly missed the time limit.

Clever from the AI to send Albert up the road. He has won this race before from a long range attack.
If it comes to it I'll be happy with second place. Summerhill is just a bit beyond Vanspeybrouck until I can train him up again next season

Wow, what a massacre. Good performance by Veelers', staying with the cobblers that are in his league. If he has another good day tomorrow, he's in a great position to fulfil our pre-race expectations.
Boom did himself a huge favour staying with that group btw.

Wow, an immediate sort out - stage result demonstrates a proper plane crash in the bunch! Del Nero doing good stuff again in the BoTD, then hanging on in the finale in the 'peleton'. So 2 in the front part of the race is a good day out for Nutresa on cobbles. Unless something stupid happens, race is now down to these 15 or so guys, although I think the 3 out front are secure.
One downside was losing a couple of bodies to the time-cut, although the riders in question probably happy to have a lie in rather than more torture in stage 2 for these non cobblers!

Baugnies 3rd at +2'25 and Kurth 8th at +3'19
Both are also in the points races at 3rd and 4th.
DeHaes and Breschel still in scoring points range. Tomorrow should not be as selective and the only reason to reel in a breakaway would be to keep a TT expert down.
Do not be surprised if a breakaway steals stage #2.

I <3 Summerhill! Huge win today for him, adding to his incredible season for us. Added bonus for us today is top domestique Samuel Coronel also has the white jersey, will look forward to the white protecting yellow tomorrow.
Really think there will be a good chance for the breakaway tomorrow, as long as no one is really close to Summerhill in time it would be a good way to get rid of the time-bonus at the finish.

Man, BPost and Aegon will score so damn much here.
Happy Declerq has a good shot at a Top 10, we really need to cut the losses at least a tiny bit.
Let's see what Lander can maybe do tomorrow. Hide in some sprint train and go late.

Yes, Yes, Yes!
Boonen <3
Brilliant ride by the legend once again. Didn't expect such a massive gap which makes it even better
Of course Summerhill and Vanspeybrouck still very far ahead but 3rd in GC would be good already. A stage podium is always nice and if Boonen manages to get the win tomorrow then bonus seconds and TT could be enough to possibly overtake Vanspeybrouck.
Hopefully, the improvised leadout of Wagner + Bogdanovics can get Boonen in a good position tomorrow.
Bpost will score hugely here. Can't say it would be undeserved after their season start.

Yeah we didn't lose anyone this stage
Hopefully Jempy can win back some places in the TT and gain a top 15 spot.

My team sucks so bad
Maes & Verbist have been letdowns on every single cobblestone in 2015 thus far...
Only good thing is that Van Winden and Vingerling finished the stage within time limit. Barely.
Oh yeah, Schoonbroodt in the break is nice at least

Boonen getting that much time is a bit worrying as there is a decent chance he can get more time in the form of bonus seconds tomorrow and will probably put in a very solid TT. Don't know if he can make up the minute and change but wish we wouldn't have let him get this close.

Also a bit curious how my team will handle tomorrow with Farrar still having a very respectable 79 sprint, will he play for the stage or will it be all in for Summerhill?

Really no idea here. 2 in top 10 and chances to stay there is a great race.
Then again the AI seems to go for Boom ending in lower stage results for Vanmarcke.
If Boom wins the TT and both make a top10, I definitely won`t complain.
Well and Groenewegen obviously needs to perform in the sprint stage. |

Glad De Backer was in the BOTD, I was hoping for something like that. But secretly I had hoped that a BOTD move could be rewarded with a stage win, especially if it had been Langeveld.
Well tomorrow is a nother day, will be interesting to see how Corioni recuperates.
