Was 2agan ever not going to win the Green? The race organises really need to stop messing around with the points compition, it was never meant to be a sprinters comp but was meant to be who was most consistent. Now that the Tour hasn't got so many flat stages a versatile rider like 2agan is dominating it, I really don't see what the problem is with this. If they want a sprinters comp then design one or reclassify the Green otherwise just leave it alone

There was never going to be some kind of fight. ASO can try as hard as they can, but this jersey has sure winner even before the start

Well you know, they could have gone even further and eventually it would have favoured Andre Greipel after some serious handicapping. However, I prefer it going to the most consistent and all-round points scoring rider.

True, lets make it 100 points for 1st place and. 2,respectively 1 point for other podium spots. Then german sprinters can have a chance and Cio will be happy

damn you look confident..
I believe Sagan is sick of that green jersey and like to have stage win...
at least he's emotion after another defeat looked like it. |

You know someone who is happy with constant defeats?
Still better to have green then not have it you know,it is not like he has a chance to choose either green OR stage wins.
Confidence is on place here i would think, Greipel is just too one dimensional sprinter and green is points jersey.

this is not a problem..Greipel wont get it because this year tour has like 3 pure sprinter stages |

Why is the Porte leading the peloton, are Roche and König that useless actually?

Goddammit, not another break. Of course Hesjedal and Talansky were in it, Talansky has a puncture,, and now they're somehow both back in the peloton. What a joke.
Really hope the break is caught.

Don't forget Peter Kennaugh, who is already off the back.

Man, I hate this. Garmin would have been in a really good position today in two situations. Instead, they're just letting a breakaway go away and people who could win the stage don't seem to care.

What's wrong with the break staying away?

Wow, selfishly, I don't have any of my favorite riders in the break, and my favorite rider could have done well today if it was caught.
But overall I just hate stages where the breakaway stays away not because they played it right or fought hard, but because the peloton just doesn't care at all, like a stage win means nothing.

Haha! Fair enough about the favourite rider part but why would the peloton chase it? It's been pretty hot in France and the last week is difficult. They have nothing to gain chasing to hard on a day like today
