Umm...
For sure the last 15kms should be good to watch (although watch out for the full-powered Sky train with no climbs beforehand to derail them) but that is hyperbole to the extreme.
Dawg looks super-strong but the first MTF of a GT always throws up surprises - remember Mollema and Ten Dam on Bonascre two years ago - so hopefully it's not just a repeat of that stage with regards to Froome. Hopefully Nairo can roar out of the rest day and put the Dawg in his place

dont expect to much (like long early attack). Tour first mountain is usually check each other. Maybe inside last 2km attack. And reserving energy for next mountains.
climb himself is just wow for first real mountain.

Yeah, I mean it could be boring if the big guys just look at each other. My point is that this is a unique stage considering that basically all of the world's best climbers are present.

Yup, although its only one climb, we still haven't witnessed the 4 going up against each other. I look very much forward to that as well since its so anticipated
again i will say that i hope its gonna be a lot of action, dan martin could be a hit tomorrow. and hopefulle the frenchmen will do everything to surprise.
I thought about taking holidays for the next couple of days until the Tour is fairly decided, but then my internet at home stopped working. So I think, I'll just watch Tour at my workplace since I'm fairly alone in the evening hours anywayz.
If I get fired it's not Daily's fault, no worries.
Also, sucks for Basso. Hope he makes a quick recovery, get well soon Stallion!
"It’s a little bit scary when Contador attacks." - Tommy V
Hopefully Basso is okay. Usually they find these types of things early on for athletes since they are regularly getting tests done and things like that.
No question what is going to happen. Truth is Froome will destroy everybody and put more than 30 seconds in all. He is in best form so far. Hopefully Contador can get podium, but Quintana and TJ will be his biggest competitor.
Watt, cadence, speed and HR of Froome, Mont Ventoux 2013. The notorious Froome-acceleration at 28.15 to drop Contador was just over 120 cadence (!), around 600 watt (I think he was/is at 60 kg - myabe a little more), but somehow doesnt eclipse 162 HR which is.. weird to say the least? Hoping something similar wont happen tomorrow, but thank god, I fear it. Froome seems to be at his best early on, at least better than the rest.
