Van Garderen, Kwiatkowski, Pinot, D. Martin, Kristoff, Gallopin, De Gendt, T. Martin, Valverde.
Well I am guessing with this route everyone will have Valverde on their roster. But you are crazy not having your pick for GT winner on your roster based on the scoring system.
Valv, Nibali, Bardet, Barguil, Degenkolb, Cummings, Kennaugh, Clement, Contador

Not I, I settled on a top heavy squad with Quintana, Contador, Sagan, Degenkolb, Bardet, Hesjedal, Roy, Rowe, and Didier...risky, but it could be great
Three days after posting my team I have made eight changes ... and I think the last man standing might have to make way if I'm going shoehorn Sagan (back) into the team.
So please explain if I like to join in.
I understand the picking of a team on Velogames, but should I put that code in and should I join a Mini-league, or what.
First time I test this so have patience with me please
In.
Decided to dodge some of the main climbers, gambling on a crash or some other surprise. Means I had much more points left for the rest of my squad, though.
Not gonna reveal it yet, although I'm going to suck anyway
Team KeldermanMustWin without Kelderman in the team feels bad
Just wasn't able to fit him in even though he's not even that bad money/value.
@clamel
After creating your team, you should go to ''view team'', scroll to the bottom and click on join league. https://prntscr.co...
After that, insert the code and you're in.

I've done my first draft of my squad now. The guy who runs it is way better at putting points values on people. I struggled to find any huge oversights in the 4 point domestique category (the most important thing to do in order to win overall). I've got 2 4-pointers but neither of them are certain to score.

I will try not to do any more changes....Van Garderen, Porte, Costa are calling me though for GC (I think Porte will outperform but just won't sprint for the highest stage placing) and Dan Martin and Bardet. I think Porte is a better rider than Van Garderen and would be a 16 point rider if he was a team leader so anyone who picks Porte is taking a risk on value that could pay off depending on how the race goes.
I have opted for Sagan for sprinter but that is open to change. He gets extra value for potentially getting support points to Contador's later week performances as well as himself being able to ride up high overall in GC for the first few days.
Dekonkolb looks good value though for cobblestone wins and support GC points if Tom Dumolin gets yellow first up and is able to hold onto it for several days. A potential good value bet for top 2 or 3 in green but his recovery ability will be an issue. I am looking forward to the tour so much!
I would love to see Cancellara have a great first week to the tour though as it has been unfortunate to have had injuries and bad luck in recent years for his best spring races so I hope he can do well before age starts to see him decline.

With you on the Degenkolb train. Basically added Valverde instead of Sagan and liked Nibali more than Quintana but from a points perspective we had almost exactly the same thinking.

So you are in a different league with completely different point values (guessing totally different scoring) and you are going to use that draft to tell us how awesome you are not putting Valverde on your team?

Thanks bud.
Never mind that I opened this thread and am referring to the exact same thing you are. Draft was used in the far more common sense of 'early version' and not in the sports-only sense of 'creating a team based on progressively choosing them'. The reference to the guy being better at putting up point values is in comparison to the past. Neither of these are particularly confusing concepts.
For the last couple of months you've been taking shot after shot at me for seemingly no reason, with poorly thought out arguments that rarely mesh with reality and seem to be solely for the purpose of spite. Why?

Man it's just so difficult to find value in the 4-point riders, which makes it really difficult. In past years, finding value in the unclassed riders has made all the difference for velogames. Two years ago Bauke Mollema was on all the top scoring teams...
