Playing with short stages, high stats and few riders is, in my point of view, exciting and funny. But again, in this first season I am trying this thing out and I want to see how this works. After one short season (it will take under two weeks) I will review it an see what I can do to make the game better.
Why don't you join us? It only takes you 5 minutes to fill in the rider application! :-) |

Jandal7: I thought nobody wanted to be a fighter because it's obviously not going to give you many points when the stages are short (nobody is trying to get in a breakaway).

Ok then, I uploaded a new excel document, this one with fighter as a posibility. But be aware of an error - I wrote "All stats max 77", but that not count for the fighter stat. You can have whatever stat you want in fighter. |

This looks like a good bit of fun, with a really interesting rider.

Seems like a good idea, so created a rider quickly. Should be an interesting combination of stats...

Just gonna point out that in races under 180km Stamina has zero effect. Recovery will only have minimal effect in the 7 day race, and zero effect in the others. Resistance will also not play a role in stages that short. The effect of fighter will be minimal to none as well in races that short. Equally some clarrification on TT lengths would be good because at 10km it's PRL stat but at 25km it's TT stat and taking a wild guess isn't particularly fun (plus in the MO TT it'll be mainly MO i guess anyway). I also guess that FL will have minimal impact in races of this short length, certainly compared to the key stats like HL, MT, CB and SP.
So with that in mind...

Nice with so good attendance!
But what I am hearing is not good... I was not aware of this. But still, I'm goin to try to finish one season, then we could all review it together and I'll gladly make som changes. Now, we don't miss many people before season one starts rollin' !!!

Nice, Dippofix! But could you find another realistic name, please?
Now I have come to an conclusion. The results is extremely wierd when I simulate the short stages. Sometimes it goes perfect, other times everyone except the winner gets outside of the timelimit. I should have planned this better. Still, the show must go on! I will now make a new race calendar with real races with real length. If I play the stages it will be big diffrences, but if I simulate them you'll have normal results (controlled it by simulating 10 stages - all with realistic results). I will give you into 20.00 tommorow to edit your post and fix new stats for longer races. I now also see there are too many overall good riders. Make sure you check the excel file again and read over the new rules!
So, this will happen now
- There will be a new race calendar with stages with real length
- There will be new rules for the stats
- You have to finish your new stats before 20.00 tommorow (+1 hour from Greenwich)
- Now downhill also included
And to all of you new guys reading this, feel free to join! |

Okay, A) I'm not gonna get stats done on time. Maybe you can just make him a decent climber with high ACC, assigning the specifics yourself?
B) Sure. Any of these: Young Hoodhustla, Hustensaft Juengling or Medikamenten Manfred. If none of those will work, maybe Sebastian Meisinger?

Why not just play the shorter stages in 3D? Won't the longer stages produce even stranger results on quick-sim, with so few riders?
A solution could be adding a team of useless domestiques to each team who can keep the races together, all with equal stats.
I also think this will be better and there will be more entries if you give more than a day for signups. |

@Dippofix: Ok, cool!
FroomeDogg99: About the stages, I have tried everything. It does not work... The only thing working is to play them as normal. And I'm not closing the signups yet. |

Whatever you think's best regarding racing. With signups though I meant I think you should extend it from being just today and tomorrow, to allow for more additions. |

What if you race normal races, but fill the field with a bunch of all 65 stat riders or something?

Maybe, we'll see. First we need more user-riders and we need to correct the stats |
