Well, that took a while, but Lotto NL had their first win in 2015.

Great attack by BMC's Ben Hermans to win the third and final stage of the Tour de Yorkshire; with Cofidis' Julien Simon denying BMC a 1-2-3 with Hermans, Van Avermaet and Sanchez.
Lars Petter Nordhaug wins the General Classification at the inaugural TdY for Team Sky.

Key moment was when Nordhaug beat Sanchez for 3rd place and a second at the intermediate sprint near the end (up the top of a steep hill, incidentally) - took his lead to 11 seconds with only 10 seconds available for a win.

Sad that Sanchez did not win, but BMC with a good result at least so I dont mind, it really was a good tour with two decisive stages... hope that we can expect a similar tour next year (and also in the man game? pretty please?)

Agree with you there, BMC rode a strong last stage but shame they missed out on the GC |
