trek - Fine, interesting to use cobbles too!
Rocky - Fine, though depending on interest I may have to cut one down.

@Rocky - Interesting course there!
Also, depending on interest, which it looks like there isn't enough, I'll just create bots. And I'm increasing the limit to seven, in case somebody with loads of motivation comes, we could do with plenty of triathletes. We should be OK on courses though, by the sounds of it TMM is going to be a huge help in converting all his CX courses into triathlon ones, which should be interesting! Plus I know trek has said he'll do some and a few of you have done one, which is perfect!

I presume they'll be using something like these:
Not US triathlon bikes, which you're right, would be nigh impossible.
@TMM - Great, look forward to the real ones as well! Thanks a lot!

TMM Routes Part. Taking out a few CX suggestions and combining some others. Less suggestions overall will be the result but still plenty to come.
London Docks
Spoiler Place: London, UK
Type: Olympic
Swim Turns: 4
Place: River
Bike Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Technical: 5
Lap: N/A
Other: Heads north from the river into the Olympic Park. A series of laps are run in the Park before cutting back south to the riverside area for transition.
Run Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 150m
Other: Based around the ExCel Center. Very flat and very simple. Great access for crowds.
Other: The swim is in the Thames. Long distance from swim exit to transition. Fast and flat bike section, if it rains it becomes very slippery. Flat and quite fast run. Crowds will get great views of swim and run without having to move far. Lots of legacy of the Olympics visible.
Ansbach
Spoiler Place: Ansbach, Germany
Type: Sprint
Swim Turns: 2
Type: River
Bike Flat: 8
Uphill: 2
Technical: 7
Lap Length: ~5km
Other: Quite flat, some bridges creating uphill. Also some sections of cobblestones, ~500m 3star, and some white gravel roads like in Strade.
Run Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 200m
Other: Very flat, some of the lap on white gravel roads. Long final straight.
Other: Based around the Hofgarten. The swim takes place in the river. Bike heads out of the park onto some old streets before cutting back around through the park again. Mix's in some different road surfaces and some tight twists. Run is much easier with long straights and few turns.
Kitzbuhel
Spoiler Place: Kitzbuhel, Austria
Type: Sprint
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Lake
Bike Flat: 1
Uphill: 10
Technical: 4
Lap Length: ~5km(?)
Other: Lots of climbing up the mountain side!
Run Flat: 7
Uphill: 3
Final Straight: 100m
Other: Mostly in the valley floor does have a smallish hill to navigate
Other: Well it's basically the actual ITU event from Kitzbuhel that i converted to CX and now back again. I just love this event and made it slightly more uphill.
Abu Dhabi
Spoiler Place: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Type: Ironman
Swim Turns: 3
Type: Harbour/Sea
Bike Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Technical: 1
Lap Length: Long
Other: Super flat, super fast, super windy
Run Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 175m
Other: Super flat, very windy.
Other: Coastal swim but should be flat waters. Very simple bike and run biggest challenge will be the heat and wind. Potential for very fast times if the wind helps, potential for very very slow times if the wind's a bitch. Hydration will be as key as strength as well.
Zallaq
Spoiler Place: Zallaq, Bahrain
Type: Olympic
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Harbour/Sea
Bike Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Technical: 2
Lap Length: ~5km
Other: The first and last 5km take the bikes to and from the Shakir F1 Circuit, with the laps actually taking place around the track.
Run Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 100m
Other: The run is based by the sea. Not much to say it's a straightforwards run with a 100m sprint out of a hairpin to finish
Other: Again quite hot and sandy and windy. Would be interesting to match more endurance guys who could cope better with the heat strains against the more sprint guys.
Suhar
Spoiler Place: Suhar, Oman
Type: Long
Swim Turns: 4
Type: Harbour/Sea
Bike Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Technical: 10
Lap Length: ~7km
Other: Flat, exposed to sea winds. But very tight and technical turns.
Run Flat: 8
Uphill: 2
Final Straight: 125m
Other: Mostly flat does cross a few bridges to add some challenge.
Other: Only so many ways to describe gulf based events. This one does a few things different with some technical biking and ramps in the run.
Port Elizabeth
Spoiler Place: Port Elizabeth, RSA
Type: Sprint
Swim Turns: 3
Type: Harbour
Bike Flat: 6
Uphill: 5
Technical: 5
Lap Length: ~5km
Other: Bit of up and down in the route to shake things up. Plus a few tight turns. Potential for a very agressive bike ride.
Run Flat: 7
Uphill: 3
Final Straight: 180m
Other: Simpler run but some uphill streets to contend with. In fact the final 70m of the 180m straight are uphill, not steep but sapping.
Other: A picturesque location with some great chances to attack the course and the other racers. Designed to get people working hard to gain time and to make sure you have good pacing on a race that will tire you out if not careful
Struisbaai
Spoiler Place: Struisbaai, South Africa
Type: Ironman
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Sea
Bike Flat: 6
Uphill: 3
Technical: 3
Lap Length: Long
Other: Long and wild bike route. Out into the surrounding wilds any mechanicals will put a racer into insane issues. Eqaully you don't want to be there alone, working in groups is a must for the best result.
Run Flat: 9
Uphill: 2
Final Straight: 300m
Other: Good hard running. Rugged and long lap. Looong final straight suckers you into sprinting too soon and blowing up.
Other: It's a hardmans race. The sea swim will tire a racer. The rough bike will tire a racer. The rugged run will tire a race. Endurance is a must and only the hardiest will contend for victory.
Fish Hoek
Spoiler Place: Fish Hoek, South Africa
Type: Olympic
Swim Turns: 4
Type: Harbour/Sea
Bike Flat: 4
Uphill: 7
Technical: 3
Lap Length: Medium?
Other: Hilly bike route with a couple of relatively long and steep climbs. The technical bits are on the decents so a risk taker can win time there.
Run Flat: 6
Uphill: 4
Final Straight: 75m
Other: Again a few sharp ramps in the run. Not many but they are steep. The final 75m straight cuts inland from the coast and is a steep hill all the way to the line and beyond.
Other: Some good climbing skills needed for this one. The swim can be rough at the wrong time of year. A risk taker can gain big time on course but does dance with blowing his energy for crashing his bike.

Thanks a lot TMM, especially like Struisbaai, but I don't think the racers will

Ok guys, so here is the situation as of now:
So we definitely have enough interest here to play with, for sure. Though we don't have enough to create a full race, so I'll be creating bots, which can, of course, still be replaced by real players. I want as little amount of bits as possible, especially in the top ranks. I'll introduce you to the important ones at the start of the game if need be.
With TMM creating loads and still a fair few more too, I think we have enough here. Overall I'm still considering a third competition which could be time-based, but in all likelihood it will be the World Series, the World Cup and a variety of classics.

Part 2 of my creations! More to come tomorrow. Breaking thm up a bit because they take a bit of time to rewrite
Kitakyushu
Spoiler Place: Kitakyushu, Japan
Type: Ironman
Swim Turns: 4
Type: Harbour
Bike Flat: 7
Uphill: 3
Technical: 3
Lap Length: ~10km
Other: One significant hill every lap to test racers. Some trickyish turns.
Run Flat: 8
Uphill: 2
Final Straight: 175m
Other: Mostly flat there are some rises. Pretty straight forwards
Other: Point-to-point Swim in the harbour with quite a few turns. Bike heads out of town before tackling it's main loop with a small mountain in it. Back down to town for a run in Nakabarushinmachi Park to finish. Fairly unspecatcular but a good test of skills and of racers.
Fujiyoshida
Spoiler Place: Fujiyoshida, Japan
Type: Long
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Lake
Bike Flat: 4
Uphill: 6
Technical: 5
Lap Length: ~10km
Other: Constantly rolling bike route classed very much as hilly. Some flat through Fuji-Q but that section is the technical part.
Run Flat: 6
Uphill: 4
Final Straight: 100m
Other: Rolling run rout but more on the flat side than the bike run. Final 100m are nicely downhill.
Other: Swim in Lake Kazaki is a good open-water swim. The bike route runs around the edge of the lake, up and down, before cutting through Fuji-Q each lap. The run goes into Fuji-Q before doing laps around the park. Attacking the route can be very rewarding due to the many twists and elevation changes. Plus Mt. Fuji as a backdrop ain't half bad
Daegu
Spoiler Place: Daegu, South Korea
Type: Sprint
Swim Turns: 3
Type: Lake
Bike Flat: 9
Uphill: 1
Technical: 9
Lap Length: Short
Other: Flat bike with plenty of turns and twists to challenge riders.
Run Flat: 9
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 200m
Other: Similar style to the bike with a lot of turns.
Other: Based in the South of the city. The event compacts into a relatively small area making for a technical challenge. Gaps will be hard to close so being clinical in transition is as important as being fast on course, mistakes will be costly.
Shanghai
Spoiler Place: Shanghai, China
Type: Olympic
Swim Turns: 3
Type: Harbour
Bike Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Technical: 1
Lap Length: ~7km
Other: Very simple bike, basically running up and down one highway. Fast sums it up.
Run Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 250m
Other: Long finish straight! Very simple run like the bike.
Other: Taking place to the north around Baoshan, rather than the congested central Shanghai. Uninspiring on paper it makes for a competitive race allowing racers to really go hard for the length of the race and being all about athletic ability.
Beijing, China
Spoiler Place: Beijing, China
Type: Olympic
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Lake
Bike Flat: 3
Uphill: 7
Technical: 4
Lap Length: Long
Other: Heads west into the hills providing a punchy route.
Run Flat: 9
Uphill: 2
Final Straight: 130m
Other: Run by the lake shore, but a couple of ramps to stretch the legs on.
Other: Based in the North West. Nanhu lake hosts the swim. The bikes head west to the hills for a punchy route, but have a few flat k's back to the lake. The run is by the lake. Very pretty event and purposfeully clear of the bad smog areas.

Cheers for them, interesting routes for sure! I can't wait to see how they handle them, especially Daegu will go to a very technical racer! Keep 'em coming!

Few more routes. They are coming slowly, not hugely motivated to convert them but i'll get there (holy f*ck i made a lot for CX)
Singapore
Spoiler Place: Singapore
Type: Long
Swim Turns: 3
Type: Harbour
Bike Flat: 8
Uphill: 3
Technical: 7
Lap Length: Short
Other: Short and tight lap. Bit of climbing provided by overpasses.
Run Flat: 9
Uphill: 2
Final Straight: 125m
Other: Similar to the bike, relatively short lap with a good few turns.
Other: A spectacular event set in the evening time, with the run finishin under floodlights. It's a good course to test a lot of skills. A well-rounded racer with solid endurance will most likely win.
Brunei
Spoiler Place: Brunei
Type: Short
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Harbour
Bike Flat: 7
Uphill: 3
Technical: 4
Lap Length: Medium
Other: A rolling course provides some nice up and platforms for an attack. Decents are relatively straight forward but again some turns to gain time on.
Run Flat: 5
Uphill: 5
Final Straight: 100m
Other: A short lap wich is about 50% uphill to really tire the legs of the riders. The final straight is slightly downhill though
Other: Unique country which packs a fair amount of route into quite a small area. Challenging but the short distance means it can be attacked.
Chennai
Spoiler Place: Chennai, India
Type: Ironman
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Lake
Bike Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Technical: 3
Lap Length: Long
Other: Really flat bike on hot open roads. Dust and heat are big challengers rather than the course itself.
Run Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 300m
Other: Again a long lap but simple. By now the heat of the race will be making the racers sweat and the run will seem to drag. The long final stretch especially will be draining with the line never seeming to get close.
Other: Northern part of the city. Not a particularly upmarket area there's lots of dust and heat to contend with. A sapping Ironman course only for true pain lovers.
Almaty
Spoiler Place: Almaty, Kazakhstan
Type: Olympic
Swim Turns: 2
Type: Lake
Bike Flat: 7
Uphill: 3
Technical: 6
Lap Length: Medium
Other: Skirting the bases of the surrounding mountains, some rolling roads. Tight roads not in the best condition require some good technical skills.
Run Flat: 10
Uphill: 1
Final Straight: 200m
Other: Nice simple run, not much to say really.
Other: Struggling for new interesting things to say... It's nice
Nelson
Spoiler Place: Nelson, New Zealand
Type: Olympic
Swim Turns: 3
Type: Harbour
Bike Flat: 3
Uphill: 7
Technical: 3
Lap Length: Medium
Other: Hilly route with plenty of short climbs.
Run Flat: 3
Uphill: 7
Final Straight: 150m
Other: Hilly again but with some flat sections. Final 150m are uphill kind of steeply to finish atop a hill.
Other: Rugged and hilly race.

Sorry about this being inactive, it's most certainly not dead, but with low interest I need time to make bots, which I'm doing now. I'll keep you updated.

Uphill: 5
Final Straight: 200m (length of finish carpet, straight road for 2 km until)

Spoiler Place: Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Type: Olympic
Swim Information: Warm swim, no wetsuit. Slightly rough water.
Turns: 5
Place: Harbour
Bike Information: One lap out Eastward along A3 road and back into Ocho Rios.
Flat: 9
Uphill: 2
Technical: 7
Length of lap (if applicable): 40 km
Other details: Very technical due to strong crosswinds.
Run Information: Out Eastward along A3 road and back into Ocho Rios
Flat: 9
Uphill: 3
Final Straight: 140m
Length of lap: 10 km
Other Details: Nothing to note here...
IDK if there's any more space for races but you have 'em if you ever need 'em.

For sure, I'm waiting for a few more though because I don't have motivation for the number of active players right now or to make bots. Even if you won't play I'd love sign-ups.
