Well, no sprint train again means atrocious results for everyone else (which sucks especially in a HC race), but YAAAAAAAASSS!!!
Goal #3 accomplished
Nice work to get into the break too, especially in a goal race in case wind or the AI in general fucks the peloton up.
Congrats to Meiji who easily overtake us in the rankings, but deservedly so with their lineup here of course.
I expect us to be this close many more times in the rankings updates next season, although surely much higher up
Thank you Selwink for the report, I already said in another thread you probably didn't read that I like what you bring to the ManGame as a new reporter

Haussler manages to disappoint in the race that traditionally suits him best, and his final race for us. I regret signing him massively
Thanks for a great report Selwink |

Nolan Hoffman did it again with top5 in a strong field, i knew it
Again great positioning from Hoffman, but that shaggy Meiji tactics forced him to go long way and overcome many sprinters with fast rocket-like finish, great sprint in the end to grab 4th place.
Many of our close rivals for that top10 scored well, so it will be tough fight till the end.
Congrats to Meiji and thanks for the report Selwink.

Well I believe Jaguar were in this race, but it is hard to tell
Thanks for covering this race Selwink! Nice for Meiji to end their recent trend of lacklustre performances. Too bad Thomas' late attack didn't work though, that could have been a pretty sensational result.

So Mr. Manager, was Lo Cicero's drop off tactics or fatigue?
I'd really love to give PCM the benefit of the doubt on the smart tactical move to build some seperation, but I think we can be pretty confident which one it was...
It actually seemed like tactics for me. Lo Cicero didn't seem exhausted, didn't have the animation for that and still came 12th. PCM does at least sometimes manage to surprise me positively

AMEXpc's sprint squad get a rider in the break to keep the pressure of setting the pace on other teams. Then we get Grillo delivered with obviously fresh legs to the final kilometer and he finishes 2nd.
YES 125 points needed very badly.
When AMEX dropped Kupfurnagel after last season and picked up Grillo many felt it was a nothing change, but Grillo has stepped up in key races and shown that he is a solid sprinter especially when races are long or a bit hilly.
Just 3 races left in our season. We need to continue to finish strong.

Very disappointing, I don't get how Hoffman is so strong but Gasparotto is so weak, considering they're very similar, albeit with Hoffman a tad quicker in a sprint. 30th is a horrible result for us, and we've now only got 7 race days to pull ourself away from the relegation places.
Thanks for the good report Selwink. |

Disappointing season ending for Van Stayen. But then again, having Corioni, him and Van Avermaet on the same team haven't worked once this season, so it's not a surprise that it didn't work today either.
Happy that we still got a top 10, though. Thanks for the report Selwink!

Hoffman is a legend, you cant compare him
Jokes aside, +2 sprint difference is important, but he also had couple of these 30th places this year, like Gasparotto. With pretty high level of randomness in PCM13, some guys will alway underperform in tough fields. Hoffman is usually very good at positioning, dont know why really.

The race wasn't hard enough for my sprinters to be able to make an impact. Was to be expected, so no problem.

It is always a good sign when a 29th is a positive surprise. Still a little disappointed that my team has been that invisible in the classics. With no big sprinter, no big puncheur, and no big cobbler we should at least be visible in the breakaways in the classics. For all of the (way to much) money Pozzovivo cost, he is the best investment I made all year.
