Although the win would have been nice, a good showing with Kolobnev on the podium, and his Russian lieutenants backing up by appearing in the break (Tatarinov), and mopping up minor places (young loanee Chernetskiy in 19th). With Fonte also brining in steady points, this makes the title battle close now; if my maths is correct, we are now only 7 points behind ONCE and 42 behind leaders Bonsucro and we all now have 14 days racing left each!
Good report thanks to The Rider, especially like many of the photos used, e.g.
Unusual to be this close in in the MG - amazing to see the detail and quality of the jersey designs.
Cheers!

The result is okay. I guess we can live with it.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

10th is decent. Bit less than hoped for, but more than expected

Barca unexpectedly trying to sneak past us too with good points in Milano-Torino and Yekaterinburg...relax everyone, 16 teams ahead is really enough!
Also, this means I have officially seen all race reports of this ManGame season so far! Finally...

Good to have you back with us cio93. If nothing else it stops the children from arguing over who is going to pick up all the cool Team Puma riders now saved from Free Agency purgatory!

Thanks! Though tbh I understand them, I secretly go crazy over the soon-to-be FAs myself already...
Good to see YOU still around, you obviously were one of the gambles to accept as a new manager but I always was convinced you'd make a great impact and so far you really did and justified that decision.

Secretely? Seems pretty clear you want to add even more young talents to your already large collection!
And nah, Scorchio was never a gamble

Well okay I only remember him being new to the site in terms of contribution...
And yes, there are still a few positions not completely covered in my long-term strategy

Also let's please not forget that I have a streak to continue, there wasn't a transfer season yet where I did not sign a potential 7 rider

Stop it, you guys are embarrassing me
You are right though, I think I had only about 10 posts on the site when I applied to enter the MG. It has certainly been an eventful year since. The season has gone well, one of the few bright lights. Given the accumulated hours (days would now be a better measuring unit) spent studying the database, you could definitely conclude I have caught the bug. Next season I need to work harder on my HQ (for the last few weeks I have been collating lots of info to at least close out the season with lots of new content), and cross-over to the reporting dark-side (again needs slight caveat that will need to wait until after I've moved and set-up new home in the summer before regular reporting will become the norm).
Conclusion from above; I like brackets (!)

22nd is very disappointing in this race and the gap in the rankings Rodrigues has to close now is increasing. |

Nice win but I'm fearing that this will have negative effects in the renewals...
With this concludes our trips to C2 races. 19 RD with a total points of 212 (11.16 p/RD)
Lejman scored 193 points (10.16 p/rd).
From our point of view it has been a success our intrusion to the CT world.
