Hmmm, I'm already satisfied if we won't end last this season...

Good to see the numbers confirm that we sucked quite a bit less this month than we usual do. Not to hold on to not being last for the rest of the season...

Great update, also with regional rankings, thnaks big time SN!
2nd month in the row Metinvest looking like a great team after first half disasters. Big jump into the top20 and close to the top15. Ignatiev entering the top30 individually, which is still far behind where i expected him before the season. But he should salvage something from Britain, his last race this season (that will be some star showdown).
Top6 seems quite secure and it would be great if all of them could promote, they are clearly best teams in the division and worthy candidates.
Other end of the table looks like battle of the 7 teams for five unwanted spots. Allianz and Kenya will have to improve in order to stay at least where they are, while Boeing, Belarusbank and Compal are most likely doomed for good.
You see Alak, no mention of that word starting with R.........

Battle for 5th looks interesting, considering that Santander most likely will be one of the relegating teams only 5 will promote, so someone will miss out... (If I haven't missed a team disbanding)

Looking a bit better for us now, pprd dropping but only slightly and with most of the teams projected 11-15 going to the Tour of America I'm feeling more confident. In our remaining 22 race days, Gautier is in 14 of them so I'm quite optimistic, a brief outline below is:
Tour of Britain - Gautier, Reus
GP Quebec - Haussler
Wanze-Arenberg - Turgot
Milano-Torino - Gautier
Philadelphia International - Haussler
Paris-Tours - Haussler
Giro dell'Emelia - Gautier
Japan Cup - Gautier
Only real concern there is Haussler in Quebec, apart from that I'm confident we can be around 16 pprd. Also, very happy with 5 riders in the top 67. Thanks for the update SN

Last few races have been absolutely terrible and we've had some bad luck too. I don't want to blame it all on "luck", but we have gotten the short end of the straw in recent months.
It doesn't really phase me going down to CT, I believe we can build a really good team of exclusively Africans, which is very difficult to do for CT. Besides, after next season we'll finally see some of our talents developing and so will Africans on other teams. This will allow us to have more depth in the African market.
So actually, I'm embracing relegation

Ohhhh shit. Things are getting out of hand. Top10 is the goal and prolly also necessary for promotion. I'm worried.

A win at Arenburg and then a lucky breakaway and we are right back into the fight. We are not done. We are not down. We are not out. We are still in control of our own destiny. We can still do this.

Looking good.
The top 10 for the Americas goal looks well within reach, more than possible to hold on to second from here. Tour of America coming up where we will have one of the strongest squads, the title is on the horizon.
- Looks a really close fight between 7th and 12th.
- Great to see Live Nation off the bottom spot.
- Can Euskaltel, Risa Ergon and Vontobel have a strong finish to the season?
- Boeing and Project Africa, unfortunately, look to be heading down but Euskaltel have shown us what you can do with plenty of breakaway luck. |

It's not luck!
It's timing attacks and choosing breakaways to perfection on multiple occasions

It appears as if the tour of America is a real make or break race for many teams. A good race then promotion or relegation escape - of course the risk is with a long stage race that a team does not get a GC threat or in the right breaks.
Will be following that one with much interest.
Massive chasm behind CSC before we get to the rest. Any team from them up would be unlucky not to promote.

Thanks for the update SN.
Great to see Siam Cement get back into the Top 10, which is our goal as second best CT team this month behind Euskaltel (they're so lucky ).
Looking at the individual rankings it shows that my team is so focused on only one rider. Vitor Rodrigues scored more points than two entire teams and his season isn't over yet.
In September, which is a race free month for us I expect us to fall out of the top 10 again but afterwards my hope is that in two stage races with Rodrigues we can bounce back in.
Looking forward to a close fight for the spots in the top 10. |

Thanks God we had a pretty decent start of the season... we are just losing positions in every ranking update.
Happy that in this month we already archived the goal in terms of points we had for this season that was 1750
There will be a good fight these next two months in all the promotions and relegation. GL to everybody

The advantage of a crappy season is that there's plenty of room for improvement...

Far from ideal ofcourse... And the remaining races don't bode too well either.
Herald Sun Tour - Cardoso, Nikolaev, Puusepp
Zagreb-Ljubljana - Konovalovas
Northern Europe (PT) - Konovalovas, Ulanowski, Vaitkus
Wanze (I know, clashes here, has been discussed with SN already ) - Greipel, Ansons Konovalovas (Massive planning mistake...)
Philidelphia - Greipel, Ulanowski, Vanoverschelde
Emelia - Konovalovas, Efimkin, Topchanyuk
Should be save, but you can't be sure...

Despite having a great month, we continue to lose a bit of points on CSC and Bacardi. Nice to see that we still have a small advantage in terms of PpRD, though. Also happy to read that both Inxausti/Uran and Abal are finished for the season. That gives me a bit of optimism with Di Maggio, Craven and Van Stayen still having race days left. It will be an incredbly close fight!
Here is our schedule for the remainder of the season, with Wanze - Arenburg left out, since we are unlikely to score points there.
Tour of Britain - Craven
Zagreb - Ljubljana - Di Maggio
GP Quebec - Di Maggio
Milano-Torino - Di Maggio
Philadelphia International Championship - Van Stayen
Paris-Tours - Van Stayen
Giro dell'Emelia - Di Maggio
Tour of Beijing - Di Maggio
Japan Cup - Di Maggio

Bellis win in Plouay proving very helpful as our lack of any notable results elsewhere made it an average month hoping we can push to the end with only 2 races without Vanderbiest or Bellis might as well keep up the trend and post them.
Tour of Britain - Anderson , Docker
Zagreb - Ljubljana - Bellis
GP Quebec - Bellis
Wanze - Arenburg - Machado
Milano-Torino - Bellis
Philadelphia International Championship - Vanderbiest
Paris-Tours - Vanderbiest
Giro dell'Emelia - Bellis
Tour du Faso - Vanderbiest
Tour of Beijing - Vanderbiest
Japan Cup - Bellis |

So close for promotion, and with the amount of races left it's not looking good for us. Need at least 1 win and another podium from Mendes in Yekaterinenburg and Cauberg, after that I'm not fully sure what races we're in. My HQ tells me we're in both Montreal and Quebec, the most recent raceplanner I can find and my computer can process tell me we're in Montreal and Herald Sun Tour. No matter which, Mendes will need to perform in those too.
