While it`s obviously not that good for Meiji or Venchi, it`s not the worst sign imo, that one dimensional riders like Barrio, Zaini or Di Maggio struggle in a 220km classic.
That said the depth Meiji did send here should have given them one rider in the front group eventually. But for those classics a good flat stat would be needed for the first positions.
Even more surprising that Roy is disappointing once more with one of the highest flat stats. There the acceleration probably is missing and also Gautier with a weaker race after a surprisingly strong early season. |

It's a good job I don't rely on Dowsett because he so rarely delivers. And that seems to be the case for a lot of the so-called favourites in races like these.

Gautier's first race finishing outside the top 5 this season, yeah. However, this is the kind of race where tactics matter more than stats - not too difficult a climb and a repeated circuit. Add in PCM logic with a teammate in the break preventing him following attacks and it's not toi bad. I mean I wanted to continue the top 5 streak all season but then I'm realistic |

Very nice 12th for Rabon, somewhere around where i expected him. We need every point now.
Roy is very disappointing rider for jaxika, i would blame acc as roturn suggest, 67 is pretty low compared to other top punchers. Also Meiji with bad race.
Thanks for the nice report Rider and congrats to the winner.

It's a shame we didn't get anyone in the break as that would have been our best chance at scoring points from this one. I was hoping the downhill could have played into the hands of Schurter better but he was always going to struggle against the best PCT riders.
Does his 28th score me any points or not?

That's 2 more then I was expecting, that makes this race a success for us.
I couldn't remember if points went down to 25th or 30th.

Well neither of our leaders seemed to try here, and 45th is an abysmal effort. We can't seem to get a point at the moment. |

Bellis is very consistent without winning another good performance from him in 4th keeping this nice little run of results going for us in our last 3 races pretty happy all in all. |

Thanks guys, and thanks The Rider for the report!
Happy to see Ulissi winning, this might bode well for the rest of the upcoming hilly races, although quite a few of those riders from the first group can win on a good day, and this race didn't have Van Stayen, so we'll have to wait and see for the next races.

It's a C1 race, so points down to 25th - so you aren't scoring any points here.

My predictions hit almost certain, I am quite surprised and pleased by the 16th place of Portela but again I am disappointed with McEvoy.
Congrat Kami and thanks The Rider

Are you sure?
In the 2014 point scale file I have it like this:
Spoiler Position | Continental C1 | C2HC | Continental C2 | 1 | 110 | 100 | 60 | 2 | 83 | 75 | 44 | 3 | 66 | 60 | 36 | 4 | 58 | 52 | 30 | 5 | 50 | 45 | 25 | 6 | 44 | 40 | 22 | 7 | 38 | 35 | 19 | 8 | 33 | 30 | 16 | 9 | 29 | 26 | 13 | 10 | 25 | 23 | 10 | 11 | 21 | 19 | 9 | 12 | 18 | 16 | 8 | 13 | 15 | 13 | 7 | 14 | 12 | 11 | 6 | 15 | 10 | 9 | 5 | 16 | 9 | 8 | 5 | 17 | 8 | 7 | 4 | 18 | 7 | 7 | 4 | 19 | 6 | 6 | 3 | 20 | 6 | 6 | 3 | 21 | 5 | 5 | 2 | 22 | 5 | 5 | 2 | 23 | 4 | 4 | 1 | 24 | 4 | 4 | 1 | 25 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 26 | 3 | 3 | | 27 | 2 | 2 | | 28 | 2 | 2 | | 29 | 1 | 1 | | 30 | 1 | 1 | |

That looks like you're looking at stage races tab instead of classics.
C1 win gives 80 points.

Zaini really should have done better but I guess the fall might have affected him. The rest of my team did about as expected though, and leaving with some points at least.

Very good job by Monfort! Nice early aggression and he kept going until the end for a podium finish. Successful race for us.
