Would be happy with a top ten here from Samwel. No more failures can be afforded from him. With a route like this if he doesn't do well he'll never do well. |

Lloyd is 4th, Kelderman is 91st. Isn't it lovely.
Well at least a favourable split for Nerz with 3-4 similar climbers caught out.

Artem showing himself, Efimkin nicely in the first group and Kononenko again a strong day, best domestique I could wish for this season. (Vaitkus isn't a domestique)

Phewww, the ''scary'' stage out of the way for us. Nice podium there, good sign of things to come maybe.

Not behind the split so that seems like a success as it's a hilly stage. Bring on the mountains. |

3 in the front group and all have the nationality bonus. Gives us some nice tactical options for the second stage. |

I would guess that the hill mountain ratio is not totally towards hill but more like 50:50 or so. |

Just cause Lloyd is a better rider is no reason to portray unwaranted hate

Where the fuck was my team? Augustyn (77MOU; 75HIL) and Hategeka (77HIL) were nowhere? No remote chance of any result now.

Meh, Jaramillo can't do hills. Definetelly.
At least Roman finished in the front group, that's a surprise. Now, PCM.... Just make Roman attack mid-stage please. |

Really cool to see Hoelgaard in the breakaway! Nice to see Topchanyuk do well as well, not nice at all to see Augustyn left behind as one of the better puncheurs of the climbers.
But seeing the KoM rankings, shouldn't Hoelgaard be leading that one as he won two sprints and placed third in one compared to Selander's first, second and third in the three sprints for points? I might miss something very obvious though, then please tell.
Looking forward to see the best climbers in the PCT go all out on the coming three mountain stages, should certainly be a fascinating fight.

Been a while since I reported this one, so I guess I just got the wrong single sprint results then Or PCM just showed the wrong results during the stage (which happens sometimes, iirc?!)...

I guess I'll cross fingers for Hoelgaard to attack on stage 2 as well then and hope he grabs more points
Looking forward to the reports! |

This was an interesting stage and good to have some gaps there.
Next two stages though should again mix everything up a bit even though Marquez having a nice gap now.
Surely the fight for the podium and top10 will continue with some top20 players shurely willing to move up a bit. |

A bit better from Augustyn, but he'll have to do more to move into the top 15 after a horrendous stage 1. He'll have to do something REALLY special if he wishes to move into the top 10. The team will also have to look for breaks with Niyonshuti/Terciado/Russom/Hategeka if we want to scavenge something from the race.
Nice win for Quick-Step! I didn't really see Marquez as an outright favourite, but he had a superior ride today. Congrats Alak!

Acceleration is too overpowered in this game. Nice win by Marquez, Quickstep will somehow find a way to be so awesome every year in MG. It all started in C2 with Het-Nieuwsblad and it is still rolling.
It seems that Uran is on his way to another misseed podium.
Oh and nice report Tsmoha!

Ditto... That couldn't have gone any worse for my team. Poor Serpa.
