Fixed that for you...
I thought Degenkolb was injured My bad That means Kristoff won't be absolute dominator. I know Italy and Spain will try to make life for the sprinters way harder but the course is simply too easy The only one who would have trouble if he participated would be Kittel (dunno if he will) |

Belgium can only win if they ride a smart race, but they have a very solid team. No real top favourite, but Gilbert, Boonen and Van Avermaet know how to win a race. The rest will just have to make the race hard from round 1 and force the favorites to use their teammates to early. It how we got Boonen to win in 2005, we can do it again!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

You are right...Degenkolb is a bit ill atm...i hope he will get well before the WC...but it looks good already...

I'm hoping for Wiggins to win TT because poor guy had a awful season so far and also considering that he has had worked hard this season for WC. But I know Tony Martin will win. Not sure why Cancellara is not participating. Would have suited him .
I'm hoping for Purito win, just because I know he is getting old and this maybe his last year. We all know what it means for him. But I think Gerrans or Kristoff or maybe even Sagan might do it. |

Lot of people and pundits mentioning Kristoff as a real favorite. I'm not so sure... He has been at such a high level of performance from March all the way through to August, and i don't think he'll have it in him to tackle a tough race this late into the season.
More likely watch Sagan who has been quiet and slowly building if you want that more classics style of rider.
I'd also say keep an eye on how Ben Swift goes. Having a great year and showed real good form at the ToB.

Both correct. Degenkolb still in hospital, no idea as to when he'll be released.
I reckon Australia are in pole position, with Gerrans and Bling Matthews. Bouhanni, Sagan, and hopefully Degenkolb seem like other likely contenders.
The profile looks very flat there, I hope the hills prove a lot more complicated, leaving Dan Martin with a great chance.
Ireland's decision to leave out Sam Bennett absolutely baffles me, the course is made for him, Top 10 more than possible. They must be expecting a very tough race, given Deignan getting the nod.

Definetly agree Bennett could have placed well here but there has been talk of him being sick even do he is racing Petegem tomorrow, but the Irish team arent putting all there eggs in one basket tomorrow so hopefully one of them can survive up there in the final

Cancellara already has 3 gold medals and a few more silver and bronze, so getting the medal in ITT isn't anything special for him (no chance he could beat Martin), while he still doesn't have the RR gold, so it's a very wise choice for him. It's important to save energy and not waste it on ITT a few days before RR. It's the same reason why Kwiatkowski also decided to ride only RR this year.
You also have to take into account the TTT, which is fairly important to teams, so you already tire there, then by riding ITT between TTT and RR it makes it harder to properly recover inbetween.

The UCI is going to test/use geolocation and on-bike Action cameras.
Geolocation during both junior races (women and men), on-bike action cameras will be in the team time rrial training and both elite races (women and men).
But they will make post-production videos so I guess they (action cameras on-bike) won't be live during the race.

Women TTT running right now. OGE about to start. Go Emma Johansson!
As usual, if no tv station is covering WC at the moment, (so probably every race except Men Road Race), you can watch it on UCI channel.

For those experiencing the message saying that the video isn't available in your country, try changing dns to Google ones, or going to incloak.com, pasting youtube's link, and clickin on hide. Then it should work, at least it worked for me.

53,9 average so farby Specialized at intermediate, jeez. Specialized just a couple of secondsa ahead of RaboLiv, who are better suited for the finish apparently, according to female co-commentator, who is doing a fantastic job covering the race by the way,
You go girls (SCNR)! ^^

No, italian commentators say that wasn't a bike issue, they say she only wasn't able to follow her teammates.
