Rodriguez, Roche, Majka, Geraint Thomas, Nieve, Riblon, Kruijswijk among the ones in the breakaway. Looks like a break that will probably win the stage.
Big battle for the breakaway group. Now a big group has formed with purito, nieve, majka, thomas, kruijswijk, de marchi, serpa, riblon, timmer, moinard, yates, gautier, roche and others.

Nieve will win the stage today. If it wasn't for Porte he would have been a top 10 GC rider this year. Hopefully this stage can make him one again.
Indeed ..Sky made a mistake there. Of course he is not TT man. But he is ..has been clearly better shape then Porte

Expect Majka and Purito to battle for KOM pts
Good point there. Until you said it, had not had a look at KOM classification. Certainly makes clear why Majka was so desperate yesterday to get 2nd. It should be interesting fight. But make no mistake, if some team gets break back and we have Nibbles getting top 5 again, then it might very well be him who wins both jerseys. Katusha and TST have to make sure break stays away.
Just came home. Glad I'm managed to come home even before Lautaret.
Not watching race yet but the break looks like dynamite. So many high-class riders. And teams that really want to know it for good now; SKY, Tinkoff & Katusha. Astana pulling? If that's the case, than oh my... another Nibbles.exe show... meh.

Also. Good things can come from that. Pinot, Bardet and Tejay battle could intensify even more. Also it could be very interesting to see if Valverde would attack again, or simply keep things together.
I like the fact you guys moan that a GC rider is putting his team on the front in the aim of winning a stage (possibly) but when the break win on the mountain stages, you moan that the GC riders don't care/are lazy
