It puts Froomes exit into perspective.
Froome fell 3-4 times in last 2 days and at least one part of his body got seriously injured on basically each of these crashes. You simply can't compare these two.

the injuries are also different. riding on cobbles with only one good hand (presuming he hurt his hand again) is just impossible.

But i have to admit looking at the injured and how the stage yesterday ended i am not a big fan of cobble stages in the tour, its sad to see Froome and many others lose their race not because they are beaten but by injuries.
Also Astana well what can you say other than it smells and it smells bad, we have a former rider Kreuziger with suspect data, we have Vinokourov as team manager not to mention Fuglsang, he is good but that he is that good and for them to distance a cobble specialist like Cancellara with over a min..... well it smells. And not to forget how many times Astana have had riders who have been doped.
Jacdk, you're a cunt, if you bothered to watch the stage, an OPQS rider left a gap to Astana and Boom and Cancellara and Sagan began to play about, they let the gap rise because of their inability to work with each other, not because Astana are doped...

Lol - bit harsh that, Ryan.
To be honest, you can never be sure with Vino. However you have to give them the benefit of the doubt. As you say, Sagan was just going to mark Cancellara. I think he thought Spartacus was going to take off but he couldn't. |

Well, you can't argue with kids who start an argument like that, i am surprised sometimes at how these kids respond.
You might disagree but with Astanas past and Vino´s and considering Lance used to ride on that team. Well, as i said it smells and i have always been surprised that Astana still is allowed to be a part of cycling. |

he's older then you, what does that make you then not everybody that disagrees with you is a 5 year old.
Fuglsang is a former-MTB rider so that (kinda) explains why he's good on cobbles, add in that Cancellara and Sagan aren't even trying and you get a 1 minute gap.
edit: I wish Isso was here, I would love to see him in a discussion with Jacdk

I am suprised that you mention Fuglsang but not Nibali?
Did you know that Fuglsang is a former world champ in mountain bike as well as 2 times danish champion.
If you should suspect anyone (which negative people always do) then you should point your finger at Nibali, besides him being a real slogger, he has no training on uneven terrain like the cobbles. |

if what Sean Kelly says is right and he's usually not wrong, saying strong winds and is expected splits, and there I thought it would be a boring sprinters day

Holy crap.
Sky is having a really crappy Tour so far.
Zandio seems to be out as well. |

Zandio was awful anyway so I don't think it changes anything for Sky. |

True. Still sucks for them. But if they where to lose a rider, Zandio is probably not the worst guy. |

Nibali was putting everything out yesterday..
He was playing dangerous game and was riding most cobble section holding bars from under. He is great bike handler.
Like man sayed Kiserlowski left a gap..trio got advantage. And no way spartacus will help Sagan to get him yellow. |

I think that some of the others are just faster than him, the level of the sprinters has risen in the last 2 seasons and I think he has been left behind.
