Just tuned in, how much is the little "bump" on the flat final circuit going to affect the result in your opinion?

It is a decent wall, not long enough to certainly drop fast guys, but still long enough to give a strong guy the chance to get away. Few team mates left means bigger chances of such a try to succeed as well.

Bad that he will be out of racing for quite a long time, but actually skipping Tour may help him prepare a good form, maybe even to challenge Martin/Wiggins/Cancellara on WC.

Pretty sure it's down to this group of 13ish riders.
On another note, Phinney has severe lower leg fracture, going into surgery. Would take a guess that he won't be putting his NC jersey into the TdF timetrials as previously planned.

Yeah, shitty camera set-up.
Exciting finish though. If it were a WT race, the chase group would've been riding for 4th place. They were just riding at the limit without looking at each other, very fun to watch. |
