Fucking shit once more.
You're not in the break, you miss out on easy stage wins and maybe even GC's.
You're in the break, your team leader doesn't care anymore.
Look at that guy in 6th. That's where you could've been.
I'm not saying that's where you should've been, but it's definitely not 16th either.
5pprd from a .HC race. If something happens to Ciolek Vantomme-style, why not relegate?

Not happy with Ji dropping like that on the climb but in all honesty I will take a 12th place because the field was very deep and he did okay to comeback from his mistake and consistent point scoring is important.

13th for Maillet is superb in this field after getting caught behind a split. Elissonde and Gadret were disappointing though, but I'm happy enough.

Yess! 3/3 goals now, nice budget for next year already secured
Happy with that from Samwel, his performances so far this year had left me worried but being the best African and a completed goal is a good result here which brings some nice points in our come race.
Thanks for the good report baseball and congrats to Kami/Bacardi. |

Go Petar! For a moment there it was looking like a Top5 was possible, but 6th is still well above my expectations. Also nice to see Sarmiento get a good result, his season hasn't been great so far. Really nice race and it's all boding well for our Goal races with mountains... f*ck i've jinxed it now

For a moment i thought Uran and Intxausti were destroying each other and Abal/Duarte would end up winning. Intxausti with a well timed attack though.
This will be the only time this season these riders will ride in the same race (apart from Le Tour). I had 2 extra race days for Uran, and i thought it would be nice to see them riding together here.
Nice report, baseball!

Congrats, Kami! And nice report, bbl. Expected a thrilling race and this one day classic in Kenya continues to work fine (iirc from last year)!
Will take that Top-15 from Bennett. Couldn't really expect more, so finishing amongst some similar strong riders is fine. Mountains won't be our most beloved terrain this year anyway, so getting a few points out of it is fine enough.

Great report!
A very good ride by Duarte. Second place certainly exceeds my expectations! A shame the climb wasn't a bit longer, as it looked like Duarte closed the gap to Intxausti quite a bit in the end, there.

Thank you for the praise guys! Means a lot in my first report!
Indeed it was an amazing race. One of the best and most realistic mountain stage I think I have ever seen in PCM to be honest.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Yeah a fun packed climb for me, Bacardi duo managed to do it, but quite a good fight by duarte in particular. Venchi and now Bacardi beginning to dominate as foreseen.
A couple of really naff performances by second tier leaders, to be expected I think in this edition.

Nice report, baseball!
Congrats anyway.
Having such a climbing duo will hopefully start to work better in your next races. Kenya was promising at least.
Last year when I reported this one it was Ndbri with a standout performance. Nice to see some others like Panayotov or Samwel strong the top10 this year. |

Top notch report bball, thanks for it!
Congrats to Bacardi, this was expected. As was result of Metinvest, this is a standard for 2014 season so why Popovych should be exclusion. I dont even care anymore as promotion is lost with this random engine and i just enjoy quality reports...

Good performance from Berhane to take 8th - had to ride above himself a bit to finish with Samwel there, and Top 10 was my target. Always nice to see Intxausti winning too. I don't recall him winning anything last year, so that might be his first since a stage of the 2012 Vuelta.
And yes, a very nice first report bbl.

Very good report bbl.
Was nice to go through the report as a neutral. Good race with a worthy winner.

Dyachenko top 20 is okay, nothing more. We didn't have to much hopes here anyway.
Thank you for the good report baseballover! |
