It is with great pleasure that myself, Stephen and Magnus can announce the signing of six new riders to the team and our last Sports director/coach.
Firstly we would like to present two extremely talented young riders from the UK, the Yates twins, Simon Yates and Adam Yates. Both Simon and Adam have massive potential and a bright future ahead of them, David and Stephen sort them out at a British youth development camp in the peak district. Both the twins were very eager to join the team and our both looking forward to developing with skills.
Next we welcome possible the best sprinting under 23 in the world, the Australian U23 champion and future green jersey wearer- Caleb Ewan.
It is with great honour I can announce the capture of one of London 2012’s gold medal winners, joking us from Rapha-Condor, he will be looking to win some prologue time trials and help on the flat, as well as continue his Olympic programme for Rio2016. We’d like to welcome to PUNK Pro Cycling Ed Clancy.
Not only do have the British champion in our ranks, we can now have the Irish tricolour too, as we have secured the signature of the four time Irish road race champion Matt Brammeier. He like Caleb will be one of our sprinters, and he has come here with the understanding he is to guide and help develop Caleb and any other young sprinter.
Finally i can happily announce that our GC leaders will be getting some climbing support from the young Australian climber, Nathan Earle.
