.
The transfer season is right around the corner and our potential riders still don't know the team colours they could be representing. Hence, and with great pleasure, Team Maloja presents the kit for its very first season in existence:
We would like to thank Cavendish-Fan for his fantastic work and we're looking forward to the equipment that is still work in progress. We're certain that the team will stand out in this distinct jersey and hope that our riders can perform as well as they're going to look!
Post #1 has been updated accordingly

Maloja Mountain Nomads confirm first signings
Late at night, the Maloja Mountain Nomads called in a press conference to present the first three riders representing the team colours. Please welcome:
| Rider | Age | Key Stats | | Wage | | Mathias Flückinger | 26 | 73 Mo | 69 Hi | € 50.000 | | Manuel Fumic | 26 | 72 Mo | 72 Hi | € 50.000 | | Heinrich Berger | 29 | 72 Mo | 69 Hi | € 50.000 |
The three cyclists represent both our main countries as well as our focus on climbers. While not taking leading positions, they will hopefully serve as important domestique riders and help the big guns in achieving our season goals.
We're very happy with our first step in assembling our squad and with some other rider deals being close to be sealed, we're looking forward to the next few men joining the Maloja Mountain Nomads.

Going for the mountainbikers I see! Manny Fumic is actually a really cool guy, met him IRL a few weeks ago
They should be some solid domestiques for you, at minimal wage!

Next wave of riders for Maloja
After last night's presentation, the Maloja Mountain Nomads would like to welcome the next four riders to contribute to the team in its debut season. They are:
| Rider | Age | Stats | | | Wage | | Stefan Schafer | 28 | 73 Hi | 71 TT | 70 Sta | € 50.000 | | Markus Fahnert | 26 | 74 Hi | 73 Sta | 74 Ftr | € 50.000 | | Artur Gajek | 29 | 76 Sp | 74 Acc | 70 Fl | € 50.000 | | David Vitoria | 30 | 74 Sp | 74 Ftr | 71 Hi | € 50.000 |
After three climbers, it's now time for the puncheurs and fast men. Stefan Schafer and Markus Fahnert are very good domestique riders for hilly parcours. However, with their good secondary stats (TT and Fighter, respectively), they may even be able to bring in some points on their own.
Artur Gajek on the other hand has no helping duties at all, being our main sprinter for 2014. While probably not among the very best in the continental circuit, we hope for him to achieve some nice results.
And lastly, the first non-free-agent we've signed. In a very friendly deal with Metinvest - Emirates, we were able to acquire David Vitoria. The Swiss is a very quick man with a strong punch to get over the hills and he'll be useful in a variety of races, with the focus on his home race and our sponsor goal: Zuri Metzgete.
That's it for now, but we're hoping to provide you with a big one next time! Stay tuned!

You've done pretty well so far with 7 useful riders all on 50k wage. Certainly helps open the space for a couple of more expensive free agency riders.

I agree with SN. Particularly someone like Fahnert was a great minimum wage signing for you.
You have a great layout with these presentation posts, keep it up.

Nice to see Gajek on a German team I hope he's able to do better than it did on my team, I think that will be able to do it... provided that the choice of races for him to be right

Introducing: Hubert Schwab
A few weeks ago, the Maloja Mountain Nomads stated four men as their main transfer targets for the season. Everyone realized how ambitious it was to get even only one of them to join us - but we succeeded!
After fierce but friendly negotiations, we're so happy to announce our first leader: Hubert Schwab!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PRL | 69 | 77 | 72 | 62 | 68 | 75 | 73 | 51 | 59 | 68 | 75 | 62 | 62 |
Nation | Switzerland | Age | 32 | Wage | € 70.000 |
The veteran climber will be responsible for the results in the high mountains - and therefore for a majority of our goals. He already has a decent support squad and more will come to join him in trying to achieve our season goals.

I like this introducing, that's surely what i planned to do, once i get my PC back.
Anyways, that guy has great MO stat! It's going to be very fun to race against you, especially since both ot teams , Maloja and Nordeus selected same bands for C2HC.

Some quality signings so far, much in keeping with your team focus too, which is always nice.
Great to see Vitoria and Gajek in the squad. I remember Vitoria always being a stand out surprise results guy in races I reported (it might have been his National Jersey back then that helped me notice him), and Gajek once upon a time rode for Wiggle, so always interesting to see who else gets old riders.
Brilliant lay out and thread so far too. Quite jealous. Might steal some ideas

Gajek in 2012 riding for Rothaus was not having the best season. Hope he can do better for you.
In general nice looking squad. |

New additions to the Nomads
Since the last press release, two further riders have found their way into the squad of the Maloja Mountain Nomads:
| Rider | Age | Stats | | | Wage | | Ralf Matzka | 25 | 74 Sp | 77 Acc | 72 Co | € 50.000 | | Bereket Yemane | 27 | 73 Mo | 72 Hi | 80 Ftr | € 70.000 |
Ralf Matzka is a very interesting rider for us, since he brings two elements to the team that are otherwise very rare: Speed and quality on cobblestones. As of now, he'll share a leading role in the sprints with Artur Gajek and David Vitoria, but his cobblestone talent is his unique feature.
Bereket Yemane is our first acquisition from neither Germany nor Switzerland. The Eritrean will be a key rider in the mountain support, but what was really attracting our attention was his outstanding fighting spirit and his attacking style. We hope to see him in many breakaways to represent our colours.
We're at ten riders now, that means at least five are still coming. We'll keep you updated here, so stay tuned!

Introducing: Maxim Iglinski
After tough bidding wars and some defeats, we're finally able to present our second leader next to Hubert Schwab!
The Maloja Mountain Nomads entered the transfer period with the aim of signing the strongest climber in the continental tour, and with Maxim Iglinsky, we are positive that few riders will be able to top him on his favorite terrain:
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FT | DH | PRL | 70 | 78 | 73 | 70 | 74 | 77 | 75 | 52 | 66 | 70 | 68 | 65 | 70 |
Nation | Kazakhstan | Age | 33 | Wage | € 350.000 |
We have spared neither cost nor effort and Maxim Iglinski will be our single most expensiv rider by quite a margin. In return, we're optimistic that, with Schwab as a powerful lieutenant, the Kazakh will justify his wage by scoring important points and achieving top results in out target races.

Two great signings, you will be a force to be reckoned with in all C2/C2HC mountains for sure. Really pleased to see Iglinski leading a CT team, he was badly used by the PCT team I sold him to last year, did a great job for Vesuvio before then.
