[PCT] Karcher-Adira Racing 2014
Avin Wargunnson
Wow, you have only 9 riders going to transfer season. You will need lot of manpower. Grin
I'll be back

SotD
Dietmar Mehr-Wenige is one of my preferred targets this transferperiod. Can you make a point about his transferavailability?

@Avin It had to be that way. The quality of my team was weak to CT, then to the PCT not to mention ... The aim is also to have only Portuguese and German. .

@SotDHe is one of my favorites but there is the possibility of being solf if a good offer apear and if i'm abble to grab some riders i want

Daniel Silva in and Rohan Dennis out

Daniel Eduardo Silva is the most recent reinforcement of the team, after a good year at the service of the team Mobil1. Silva now returns to Portugal where he will play an important role in the team it will be a big help to the leaders in the big races and will have the opportunity to fight for race results in smaller ones. I am sure that this was undoubtedly a real boost for the team.

Team begins to take shape

NameFLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFTDHPRAVG
Fabio Silvestre7261667268686455747570627371.33

The rider of the team with better future prospects. Will one day be the best Portuguese sprinter, but for now it will be an important element in our sprint train. After a year racing for the team on loan from Pearl-Adidas is a great pleasure to see him in the team but permanently

NameFLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFTDHPRAVG
Danilo Kupfernagel7452615973667863808071637474.33

Danilo was already a desire since last season, and the entry of many good sprinters in PCT forced the team to take measures to not get behind in this aspect. In a deal that involves the exchange of cyclists with Amex was possible to satisfy our desire and bring a great sprinter to be one of the team leaders.

NameFLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFTDHPRAVG
Alfredo Balloni7160657666696654636771647671.17

It's a pure time-trialist and certainly strengthen the team in that aspect, since some of our objectives include this discipline. also being a fighter, may have an important role in flat stages if necessary to chase escapees.

But not only of good news the world is made, so it is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our two best riders from the previous season. Martyn Irvine leaves the the team and just like Rohan Dennis goes to Lotto - Australia Post in a deal that will earns the team 125k.
But it is with even more nostalgia that we say goodbye to our great leader Dietmar Mehr-wenige. The former German champion will race for Amex having been part of the deal that brought Kupfernagel to our team

Final signings presented

NameFLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFTDHPRAVG
Allan Davis7163695972707664797762686572.58

A pure sprinter, will be our number two in the sprints. It will not be easy to achieve victories but should be able to win points with some regularity. Will have undoubtedly an important role in the team.

NameFLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFTDHPRAVG
Jonathan McEvoy7064766575707165757979666575.00

A puncheur? A sprinter? McEvoy is actually a bit of both. Hired to replace Mehr-wenige, will be our leader in the hills and not being one of the best can surely surprise thanks to its ability to sprint. In selective arrivals can collect many points and will be very important to accomplish at least one of our goals

NameFLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFTDHPRAVG
Vladimir Karpets6878737674777952565865647676.75

The true leader of the team. being already in the terminal stage of the career is still able to beat some of the best cyclists in the peloton. The high mountain and TT are clearly their strengths. Will surely ensure enough points for the team and may be crucial in our maintenance on the PCT.

Unless an irresistible deal appears I can already say that the team is complete and closed. This will be our the team for next season, a short presentation will be made on the day of tomorrow

After a season of disappointment in CT, there was a complete revolution in the team. Only 7 cyclists now continue from the previous season, all this so that the team could get much more quality. Our primary targets on the transfer market went totally out of reach, but still were able to find alternatives that I think being able to get some good results.
Some of the objectives of the team shall have fallen impossible to attain, but I think the team should be able to conquer points with some regularity and can give guarantees in the fight to keep us in the PCT.

Last minute sales change final team

After the presentation of the team appeared business opportunities that were impossible to refuse. Alfredo Balloni would be an element with some importance but the necessity of evolving spoke louder. Thus a solution was found, Balloni went to Port-Prio and opposite Rodrigo Nascimento is coming also to be able to evolve.

Output of the team is also Jorge Adelbo Soto Pereira, the cyclist was transferred definitively to the team Bonsucro in return for € 200,000, is expected to be presented in the coming days, a replacement capable of closing the exit of Soto Pereira. Only then the team will terminate the period of transfer.
In addition it is likely that at least one of the cyclists will receive some training, even if it is not anything too intensive

Bonsucro are very excited about signing Jorge Adelbo Soto Pereira from your team. The Uruguayan will have a fair few opportunities to win some stages/races himself in 2014.

Best of luck in the new season, will be good to see our teams competing each other in a few races. Wink

One reason for the output of Soto Pereira was the fact that he was clearly more useful for CT as for my team. I'm sure he will be very useful to you. I do not think we will find in many races this season.

With the approach of the start of the season and with all teams have delivered their plans for the season, it is time to reveal where will be present some of our riders.
In this case are our four leaders who see their plans for races revealed. Being one of the most important aspects of the season, I think the choices for each of them is certainly not perfect but it was without doubt the best that was possible for me to do. Much of what the team will get depend on these choices

Great to see that we avoid Karpets and McEvoy in all but 3 races each, and it's interesting to see where you want to utilize Kupfernagel to avoid the big opposition (and he will meet Ciolek only 5 times as well).
