Congrats! He was on my shortlist, but i thought he might be better off in CT. Definitely not the worst first signing, especially at this wage.

Two More Signings for Fletcher-Garneau
Two more riders have officially signed with the Kiwi team for the 2014 season. The sponsors will certainly will be happy with the signings, as they both come from team countries.
Zachary Bell Wage 50,000- The Canadian rouler will be an integral part of one our sprint trains, and will get some chances for himself to go into the breakaways.
Roman Van Uden Wage 50,000- The Kiwi will also feature in the leadout-train, and he will get to lead in flat races with some time trials.
As you can see, the Fletcher-Garneau team has decided to pursue being the best sprint team in the CT circuit, and they would like to have some good punchers to go along with top sprinters. They have decided to worry about getting top climbers when the time comes for the team to go to the World Tour.

Four more Signings for Fletcher-Garneau
Michael Vink Wage 55,000- The Kiwi puncher will be one of our key riders this year on the hills. He is a solid puncher, and can do some work on the flat to go with his hill ability.
Ermin Van Wyk Wage 50.000- The Nambian Road Race Champion is very fast on the flat, and will be a key part of the leadout train. He will also get some chances for himself on the cobbles.
Michael Vanderaerden Wage 55,000- The Belgian sprinter will surely be one of our two leaders for the sprints. He will be targeting flat stage races as well as the flatter classics.
Marco Haller (Loan) Wage 0- The Austrian will be another man for the train, and he should get to sprint for himself a few times in smaller races. We are to get him to level three.

Team Fletcher-Garneau almost completed
Fletcher-Garneau DS welker3257 has announced that his team has now signed 15 riders for the upcoming Man-Game season. This is the minimum amount of riders, but welker says he wants more riders, and said that he has 105 k in budget remaining, as well as 125 k of his loan cap. He wants to exhaust the loan cap and get to 20 riders for the next season. Welker also announced that the team's jersey would be released at the end of the transfer season, or when the team presents its last signing to the public. Here are some more signings.
Robert Gavenda Wage 50,000- The Slovakian road race champion will be a key part of the team's cobbled squad for the season, and should be the last man for cobbles leader...
Hayden Roulston Wage 110,000- The New Zealand road race champion is a great cobbler, as well as the terror on the flat. He will be the leader in the cobbles, and will be allowed to attack, as well as being the road captain of the team.
Curtis Dearden Wage 55,000- The Canadian Time Trialist, will be an integral part of the TTT squad, as well as the leadout train for the team's sprinters.
Ethan Kimmince Wage 25,000- The Aussie puncher will be cheap labor for the team, as he is on loan from Oz Cycling Project, and the team will pay half of his wage and help him reach level three.
Sam Horgan Wage 50,000- Honestly, Sam Horgan is on the team simply because Fletcher-Garneau is a Kiwi team. I wouldn't expect anything special out of him this season.
Guilliaume Malle Wage 50,000- The lone Frenchmen on the team so far, Malle is a good all-arounder, and should get some chances in lesser .2 races this season.
Johim Ariesen Wage 50,000- The Flying Dutchman can literally fly on the downhill (78 DH), and he will be one of the final guys to leadout our lead sprinters.
Cameron Meyer Wage 300,000- Here is our absloute leader for the 2014 season. The Australian Cam Meyer is great in sprints, isn't terrible on hills, and can hold his own in the time trials. He will lead our top sprint train this upcoming season.

Meyer is like a slighty better version of Gullen who finished 54th in the CT last year he could really bring home the points for you this year |

Hicham Caabane Wage 50,000- The Algerian is good on the flat, the cobbles, and the hills. He should be a vital helper for our leaders this upcoming season.

Fletcher-Garneau has unveiled its last three signings for the 2014 season. Here they are:
Muhamad Adiq Othman Wage 25,000- The Asian will be the on loan this season, and he is a solid puncher domestique. He will have 76 race days this season.
Dan McLay Wage 50,000- The British sprinter will be riding enough to get to level 4 this season, and we should see him in the leadout train in the C1 circuit.
Anton Cooper Wage 10,000- The Kiwi man will receive his 15 race days from us this season, and will then decide if he has earned a full contract at the end of the season.
DS Welker3257 has decided to end the team's transfer with 19.5 riders for the upcoming season. Here is a full look at the team's roster for next season.

You have quite a nice sprint team there. Surely it must have been an issue to stay under your cap with so many riders? |

I fear that it may be a bit of a thin year for your team this season, though you have a few nice riders like Roulston who could do something. You also have a decent TTT squad for this level of racing.

tyriion:That's why we pay him the big bucks
jph 27: It wasn't that hard, since we got 2 of our 3 leaders from transfers, along with loan deals. 76 HL from Transfers is 100 k in salary than FA
CountArach: Thanks for the motivation

Today marks the launch of the cycling magazine; Fletcher Monthly. We will follow the progress of the Fletcher-Garneau Cycling Team throughout their debut season in the CT. We start this issue with a review of January.
The new team had only two races during this month; the New Zealand Cycle Classic, and the Great Ocean Road Classic. The Kiwi race was the team's first as well as most important race of the year, being the "win" goal for the squad. The second was the first race in the new C2HC category, and the team wanted a good result in the flat race. Let's see how the team did.
New Zealand Cycle Classic
Goal: Win
Result: stage + 2nd GC + Points
Final Verdict: 4/5
The team have to be disappointed that they let the break take victory on three of four sprint days, but they did end up with a solid result with 2nd in the GC and the points jersey. Also of note is Zachary Bell, who crashed on the last stage and had to abandon. Let's hope he doesn't have any serious injuries.
Great Ocean Road Classic
Goal: Win or two in top 5
Result: 7th + 10th
Final Verdict: 2/5
The boys struggled in the crosswinds, as Cam Meyer could only finish in the mid 30s in his home country. The team got some consolation with Hayden Roulston taking 7th via attacking, and Michael Vanderaerden getting 10th.
Images of the Month
Sam Horgan riding on his home turf against the clock.
Rory Sutherland goes onto the attack in the Great Ocean Road Classic
Cam Meyer leads the bunch under the flamme rogue.
Sweet Victory! Cam Meyer takes the third stage of the New Zealand Cycling Classic.
Poor Zach Bell is about to go down to the tarmac hard in the final stage of the New Zealand Cycling Classic.
February Preview
The team will take part in three races during the month of February: Tour of the South China Sea, Benelux Challenge, and Gisborne GP. Since we don't know the full startlist, we can't give you any goals, but I can tell you who Fletcher will be sending too the race.
Tour of South China Sea
Leader: Michael Vanderaerden
Route: This race is a flatish circuit, prime for a late attack or breakaway to take win. The race will be very unpredictable, and should come down to the wire.
Benelux Challenge
Leaders: Michael Vanderaerden, Hayden Roulston
Route: This race has two sprint days, two cobbled days, and two days in the hills. Michael will take the sprints, and Hayden will lead on the cobbles and the hills.
Gisborne GP
Leader: Alberigo Passalacqua
Route: This hilly classic will be Albergio's first chance to show his worth on the hills.
That's all for now, see you next month!
