To be honest, I spent just 10 minutes on my application last year. I also must admit I choose not to apply to join the year before, because I felt my knowledge of the man game was not that great...

Like the many others I too have sent in an application. I'm not as overly worried about the application as others seem to be, I think what you have contributed to the site probably has more impact than the app.

I was just pretty unsure about what the prerequisites were, because I thought it can't just be answering the two questions...with stuff like jerseys and whatnot.

That can all be provided either in your application or later. It really doesn't matter either way.
For anyone worrying about people who have been waiting for 'months' to think about it, I only applied on impulse when I happened to see the thread open and I got in. Don't worry about it. You can put together a good, well thought-out application quite quickly.

Wish I had the time for it, I sent in one last year but didn't get accepted, vouched that I would do it this year. But I don't think I have enough cycling knowledge anyway, so I will pass this year, good luck to all.

I'd really enjoy doing this, but I think I'll only send in if there aren't enough people (which I highly doubt). To be honest I don't trust myself to do a good job, especially considering how bad I am with story games, and I've heard his requires a lot more effort. I might do it next year, but I'll let everyone else enjoy themselves this time!
