The funny thing is, in hindsight, there's really no reason to have predicted Bintang that high. Their big plus was Alarcon, and he was outgunned by the influx into the division of Kritskiy, Dekker, Pozzovivvo, Taaramae etc
Anyway, I declare Smowz the winner by a Pearson Correlation score of 0.70 to 0.66!
This probably was due to me not willing to rank myself anywhere close to the top or bottom. So I put me directly in the middle. |

take that roturn
I think my spearmans rank may have been 0.71 vs roturn's 0.66 but yes we were fooled by the Alarcon factor for which I had an influence in nerfing anyhow!
Congrats to Tinkoff and ING - from my class of 2012 for joining us in the protour. Will be fascinating to see if Tinkoff join Santander as the second single nationality team in the top rung. Could well see VW also, making it quite the class reunion.
2013 alumni Rothaus and Bpost certainly are welcome also I think it is a tough old transition and for some teams will require a fair bit of work in renewals and transfers to get a team to compete with the big guns.
Terrible season for CSC - they I know are in for the long haul, possibly a change of focus? I do fancy HTC and Metinvest to make strides forward next year along with Meiji and Oz Cycling. If Prio Porto remain they will be strong against the relegation guys of which of course Puma, Bacardi, Venchi and CalGiant (I assume I am correct in the relegation from Protour). Of course the elephant in the room is Gazelle - Dubbeldekker is clearly a master strategist!

End of our first season, could have been better but the lack of quality of the team and risky bet, to put Mehr-wenige in so many races C1 eventually make this a long hard season for the team ..
Congratulations to all the promoted teams, is now planning next season and not repeat the mistakes of this
Thank's to everyone who made this season possible

Mid-table finish for us! Rodas did quite well actually - was really consistent. Looking forward to next season whether or not there's a promotion spot for us. I'll be restructuring the team with a big influx of (more) Africans

I'm glad this long season has finally ended. It was a great season for us though, in contrast with last year's affairs at the bottom of the table. We'll await the final verdict regarding our next season status. While it would obviously be terrific to go up one division, our long-term plan didn't consider this possibility thus staying in the PCT would probably be better for the sanity of our squad in the long run.
Anyway congrats to the promoted managers, votes of good luck for the relegated ones, and bring on 2014.
Also congratulations and thanks for all the immense work to all reporters and especially SN who have brought us another brilliant season.
Looking forward to the regional ranks as well.

Thanks for a great season, everyone!
Looking forward to the regional rankings (or really just the Asian Tour). Not sure what spot we ended up in, but the top 5 goal should definitely be achieved!

Sammy has asked that Sauber-Petronas remain in CT, so that final spot is now available to Credexbank. (Assuming Ste wants it!)

Being the only team where the predictors agreed about the placement (and got it correct) tells me that my transfer season was horrible. We all knew that this would ultimately lead to relegation, but it has been fun nevertheless. Lo Cicero's win in Eneco Tour is hands down my best moment this season, and gave me some hope to remain in PCT for a slight period of time
Congratulations to all promoters, hope to see you again at a later time, and a big thanks to organizers and race reporters who make this possible! |

Thanks everybody for so much fun (and anger) during the whole season. The reporters did great job, even more when they lacked numbers. And chapeau SN!
Our fist PCT season was a great one, right from the start, when we held the top10 position. Of course the expected slide moved us to he final 14th place, but that is still more than we could hope for at the seasons start. Just a slight disappointment that we finished 23 points behind HTC.
I hope we can build on that, but transfer season will be hard. We have a shitload of talents, but we need to refresh our leader department, as we cannot expect Hoffman pulling miracles constantly. (or even him riding in our colours in 2014).
Congrats to all the promoting teams and good luck to those demoted ones, i wish you the better season this time.
Just few special mentions in the end. We are proud on our friends at Privatbank, who are going in Metinvest footsteps and will most likely join us in the PCT. These are both the good and the bad news. It means better development of Ukrainian cycling, but it means more competition on local market. We can just hope for continuation of good relations between our two teams and influx of more good domestic riders.
Last mention goes to team Puma-SAP. They should be very tough opponents, but as we are not in their list of friendly teams, we will hunt them day by day.

Yay! Promotion Unexpected surprise, but I wouldn't have minded to stay CT. Now I need to get some serious transfers this season. It won't be easy to get a lot of good Africans as Kenya is also promoting. Hopefully SN added a bunch of over-powered Africans to the db

There is still you-know-who Aidan, who could be interested in move from one PCT team to another.
Congrats on promotion.
