Thanks Smowz for the reports!
They were perfect. IMO it's better to keep the reports coming than them to be a literary essays (I'm not implying that the quality was low, don't take it this way).
From our point of view was another failure. With Arroyo unreachable we were hopping to battle for the podium positions and not to be that far even tough we secured the 4th place.
Arroyo was just too strong in Columbia. Rohregger did well to get 3rd - it was too much to hope to avoid Arroyo all the time!
Overall a nice race for us. Thanks for the reports Smowz, I appreciated the brevity - while some longer reports are awesome and capture every detail, sometimes when its done correctly (as was done here) shorter reports are just as good.
Great reporting Smowz! I like long, detailed reports, but these frequent and short reports were just as good. I love the fact that reporters have their own unique reporting styles.
Quite happy with Rodas taking 5th - he's been really consistent this season. Ihlenfeldt bagged a top 15 and Craig Lewis came home with a 17th place. Unfortunately no stage win for us!
Nevertheless, the rumor-mill refused to die-down. Your intrepid MundoCiclistico reporter is hearing various credible reports that the birth of a new Colombian based MG affiliated team is imminent – potentially even in time for the new 2014 season. While nothing has been confirmed out in the open, it is understood that a group has been liaising with the Colombian MG cycling federation to prepare an application to the global MG committee and el presidente SN for consideration.
We will have more news on this story as further details emerge.
