Great signings for the team. Jean-Claude Leclerq has a tendency of talking awfully lot on TV, especially when something important is going on in the race.

Coldfire signs Voigt and Schleck brothers
The new German cycling team has signed their first riders: fan favourite Jens Voigt and the Schleck brothers Andy and Fränk move over from RadioShack Leopard.
Welcome aboard guys!
Here are some statements on the deal:
Silas: “We have signed three of our high priority targets. Jens Voigt draws a lot of attention from fans and is one of the legendary fighters in the peloton.
For the Schlecks it was important to stay with a team that rides Trek bikes. Luca Guercilena told them and us that he wants to focus more on building a team that can support Fabian Cancellara’s classics campaign, and so I am very happy that we were able to convince Andy and Fränk that we have a long-term plan to get them both back to the top, even though we start as a Continental Pro Team. We all hope it will only take us a year to promote.”
Jens: “It’s absolutely cool to be on a German team now. During the negotiations we made it clear that Andy, Fränk and me can only be signed as a triple, we won’t ride against each other in the peloton. It was good that all parties wanted us to stay together. I’m really looking forward to helping Team Coldfire with getting established in cycling.”
Silas: “We leave the negotiations with good feelings on both sides, a mutual sympathy, and that’s not always the case. I have a very good feeling right now because I know we are making good progress.” |

It will be interesting to see how this develops.
I would normally say Voights old, F Schleck getting old and A schleck isn't showing any signs of progrssing towards his old form.
Maybe Silas knows something i dont
I do like Jens though and am very happy he's in the team

Voigt is a good signing for the team although he may be past his best and the jury is out on the Schleck brothers |

I'm sorry that you all don't seem to like the Schlecks too much, but there are 22 more riders to come, I hope you'll still follow anyway |

Team Coldfire reveals 2014 jersey and signs Kangert!
Coldfire Professional Cycling proudly presents the 2014 jersey:
Credits go to Jakstar, who did a great job on that shirt. The main color is rather unique in the peloton which is a very good thing.
Furthermore, CPC is happy to inform you that Tanel Kangert (Estonia) will ride for the team in 2014. He joins from Astana and his goals are winning some smaller races to make a name for himself. We hope we can help him with that. |

German “local heroes” support new cycling team
Silas Coldfire, owner of Coldfire Professional Cycling, has confirmed today the signing of two “local heroes”. Christian Knees and Linus Gerdemann are going to be part of the new-founded team. Knees is joining Coldfire from the British Team Sky while Gerdemann is currently without a contract. Team manager Silas Coldfire wants both riders to be an integral part of the team.
Coldfire: “I’m convinced that both Christian and Linus will play a vital role during the next year. Christian is one of the unsung heroes of the peloton, he is working incredibly hard every single day.
Linus has got some great skills in the mountains when he is in good shape. Also, he knows the Schleck brothers very well from two years at Leopard-Trek and RadioShack, so he will be quite valuable.
I don’t think it’s a disadvantage that he doesn’t have a contract right now, because he is a professional with an individual training program. I know that he is working hard to be in excellent shape in January.” |

This is gonna be one of the strongest looking PCT-teams. The target has to be promotion as well as getting some good WT-races already the first season!
