Vote for Japan! You know you want to see Napolitano leading out Bennati!
Hah, actually I'm not even sure I want that
Of course I'd love to have a WC, but if it means his wage goes higher than I planned...a WC jersey doesn't give stat boosts after all
From memory WC doesn't affect wages.

C'mon Cio,this is about prestige, you cant control everything.
My vote is going to Japan, sounds like a cool destination and will be nice to see Hoffman leading a SA team with Impey, could be a strong duo.

After Belgium last year i wanted to vote for a non-European race this year. So it was between USA and Japan. In the end I think Japan will be more interesting with PCM 12, so I went for that one.
Will be fun to see a flat WC anyway.

My heart says Spain, my mind says Japan.
I don't really care though, as long as it isn't the mountainnous race. Mountains simply doesn't work in this game, and thats the only reason why I'm against it.
With WC in Spain I can probably have Contador in the race, while in Japan I can have Guerao. Neither can win, so I'm not going to really push for either

Well, then...

I have some very ambitious transfer plans, and I could really use any 5k additional cap space to realise them
And come on, I'm a second year team in PT with 6 GT stage wins and a monument podium. Anything more is nearly ridiculous.

Why it does not surprise me that you have ambitious transfer plans Cio?

Dunno. Did you get that impression? Or do I already have a reputation?
Yeah, my currently favourite transfer plan factors in about 18 transfers&loans with pretty precise fees

That is what i am talking about, i dont have a single plan yet.
You have it all calculated, but that is what i like on this game, people with passion.

It is by far the most fun part of the season for me.
I just love imagining different scenarios and doing some math to get the most out of the cap space.
In the end, nothing of that will work anyway and you're probably better off because you were productive with RL stuff
Still, I can't stand having to endure a whole year with a mistake you could've easily avoided with a bit of research and planning.
I mean, I've spent hours with the DB the last two weeks and still found two rather obvious possibilities today.
Race planning is also really high on my list, which is why I'm actually a bit sad to be in PT as race selection was really great back in PCT.

The initial vote showed 2 clear winners. Between those two the 2013 World Championship is decided now.
All Man Game Managers can PM me their vote. 1 vote per manager. The deadline is 3 days from now.
So next Sunday 10pm British time.
All managers will have to vote again as this final poll will decide the race. Votes from the last round won`t be counted!
So here are the two winners:
Japan
Germany

A small reminder for all those, who haven`t seen the final round yet.
You have ~1 day left to vote for Germany or Japan. |

I'm going to pass on voting this time. No preference between the two.

First. Thanks to managers, who sent me their votes.
In the final round it was close but we have a winner. With 19 to 16 votes the decision is :
GERMANY
So the 2013 Man Game World Championships will take place in Stuttgart.
The Elite Road Race is a hilly circuit with 4 laps, which adds up to 260km.
The finish with a short uphill could make it very interesting.
The time trial with 56km is long and despite of some uphill sections should be perfect for the power horses, the real time trialists.
It`s the same course as the Team Time Trial.
Two laps less for the U23 riders. Still very tough and lots of climbing.
Also the U23 time trial is shorter but pretty similar. |

I was fine with either decision, good to see it's settled now.
Oh, for everyone wondering why I'm not sad Bennati doesn't get a shot: I have a national bonus-boosted Vogt for the U23 together with Kelderman, and everyone knows I'm a huge sucker for U23 races
Sütterlin gets a boost for the TT as well, though I think I messed up his chances by not getting him to lvl3 last season. 75TT with bonus might have been unbeatable.
Plus I couldn't stand if the guys like Boonen or Swift, constantly beating Bennati all season long, now also win the WC ahead of him

I think it could also be a nice course for Jonathan Bellis. Even though the leader role question could obviously be a problem.
Then it must be done by Geschke I guess. |
