As always with a baia story the graphical work is just astounding! Seriously the work is just amazing and makes it so nice to look at. Of course it's not as good as Dark Dog but hey, it ain't half bad

thanks, manx! It's funny, i just checked some DD-reports for the first time in a year today..
And definitely agree with this. Always been a fan of your time consuming work with the graphics, and the new layout looks good as well! Also like the idea of splitting the team. I'll cheer for group one the most

*admirschleck - Thank you
*TheManxMissile - Thank you so much for your comment, it motivates me even more.. myself was a fan from Dark Dog, (you can check it), i know how to recognize the work some of us putt in a story and tsmoha´s stories are always amazing, like the NSR now..
*FreitasPCM - Thank you , i will try to..
*tsmoha - He´s right mate .. thank you for your support , group 1 has a tought season ahead, i think all of our sponsor goals are on their shoulders, so they need lots of support...

We start 2nd stage with Jamis riders leading the pack... 3 riders are on the run...
With KOM sprint insight(2,5kms), L. Romero attacks from the pack.. before this, we had already brought back those 3 riders..
L. Romero takes it...
After kom sprint, G. Joeaar(COF), J. Valencia(COL), M. Mori(LAM) and G. Rasch(SKY) join up with Romero..
Escapees ride with 2´40"gap..
60kms to go, Orica and Garmin lead the chase in peloton.. 1´52"gap..
45kms to ride, L. Romero drops from the break... he´s tired..
23kms... G. Rasch and M. Mori are the last ones in the break.. peloton is getting closer..
Last 5kms.. Mori still leads but he will get caught up ahead.. at this point, J.J. Haedo has no more support...
Final km... Haedo had to make big efforts to stay at the front but now starts to fade away..
At the front, M. Gavazzi(AND) and F. Sabatini(CAN) are the best placed ones..
M. Gavazzi looks to be the fastest today..
M. Gavazzi wins 2nd stage.. J.J. Haedo finishes in 22th... overall, he drops from 10th to 17th with +14"..
For the 2nd time in row, D. Aleman is the last rider to cross finish line..

Aleman to do the "triple" in next stage
As for Haedo, things can only become better. Pretty sure your team will get at least one reason to cheer in Argentinia!

It's a matter of form really. Haedo will only get better in time.

*tsmoha - .. poor guy is doing what he can but with 58 MO he gets droped as soon as the road goes up... and he´s trying to get in the breaks but without success... too much for him so early..
We need stage win for all to be happy..
*Cycleman123 - Hope you´re right..
*sutty68 - looks good doesn´t he .. next stage will have 2 kom sprints.. we hope to get one at least..

We come to 3rd stage with J.J. Haedo being the only rider well positioned in GC.. we decided to not enter in any chases and we will fight for KOM jersey with L. Romero...
As i was talking about kom jersey, that´s where the race finds itself... 1st kom sprint.. 3 riders form the break... J.A. Jorgensen(TST), G. Bernaudeau(EUC) and our C. Miller... 2´44"gap..
Peloton comes with 3´00"gap.. L. Romero comes to the front to prepare his attack for 2nd kom sprint..
16kms to the top, Romero decides to attack... 16points on top, he has to get some..
.. unfortunally there is someone else who wants those points too... in the break, J.A. Jorgensen saw Romero´s attack and decides to do the same.. he tries to get rid of his break mates.. 13kms now..
Behind, Androni Giocattoli makes pressure on the break.. 10kms to the summit..
L. Romero catched up with Miller but this one couldn´t reach any help.. Romero will have to ride by himself...
Close to the 5kms banner, Romero catch up with front duo...
At the top, J.A. Jorgensen is the strongest of them.. Romero wins 14pts... this means..
When peloton reach the top, many riders lost contact but this time we got some good news.. J.J. Haedo(N°111) managed to stay within the pack and today has some support from P. Mooney and C. Miller.. 2´41"gap to escapees..
The frenetic pace from Androni brings Romero and Bernaudeau back.. Jorgensen struggles up ahead with 47"... i tell to Romero that he must stay in the pack..
With Jorgensen caught, peloton still has to ride 19kms... E. Battaglin(BAR) decides to attack... J. Moyano(CJR) and D. Ratto(CAN) ride behind..
With 6,5kms to go, J.J. Haedo´s brother, Luis, has a nasty fall and our sprinter somehow will know from this before finish line..
Battaglin reach last km but he´s so tired that he doesn´t see D. Caruso(CAN) coming from behind.. R. Plaza(MOV) is the next rider..
Caruso overtakes Battaglin without any reaction from this one...
D. Caruso wins... J.J. Haedo was looking good until flamme rouge but any chances of a good result went down the toillette when he countered stronger riders..
Now some of you might be thinking if D. Aleman will make the triple... lets check it out... he rides indeed with last group..
.. but he´s a fighter and manages to avoid the triple..
Stage Result
Provisional General Classification
KOM
We know such stages are dificult and we don´t have any suitable rider for them but we are happy with L. Romero wich fought well and is still in the race for KOM jersey.

*sutty68 - we will fight for sure
*Kadtagenero - thanks for following , hope to see you more times here... we will focus on Americans but we might bring another Colombian to the team.. lets wait and see what happens ..
