Stage 08: Pau - Bordeaux (213,2 km)

Info: The 8th stage is a totally flat stage of 213,2 km. This stage starts in Pau and finishes in Bordeaux. There is an intermediate sprint in Roquefort. A good chance to take some points for the green jersey. Not much more to say about this stage. A great opportunity for sprinters to show who is the best in this kind of stages. The only disadvantage could be the long distance of the stage, but it seems not to be a big problem. Let's see what happens in Bordeaux...

Info: The 9th stage is another totally flat stage of 201,3 km. This stage starts in Bordeaux and finishes in Brive-la-Gaillarde. There is an intermediate sprint in Périgueux. Another good chance to take some points for the green jersey. Not much more to say about this stage. Only a thing to say to sprinters: You must take advantage of these flat stages without mountain passes... And of course, we're waiting you in the finishing line in Brive-la-Gaillarde!!

Info: The 10th stage is a medium mountain stage of 172,6 km. This stage starts in Aurillac. After two flat stages it's time again for some mountain passes. We're in the Massif Central and there's very little riding on the flat, just frequently steep ups and downs. Pas de Peyrol is the highest road pass in the Massif Central. Following it are the not-insignificant Prat de Bouc and Fageole passes, with two 4th category passes between them: Entremont and Baladour. The finish is uphill too and could well result in a breakaway rider finishing alone. Let's see...

The cyclists will have to pass 6 climbs in this stage:

- Col du Pas de Peyrol (Le Puy Mary): 11,6 km-long climb at 5,5%. Category 2.
- Col d'Entremont: 2,9 km-long climb at 4,8%. Category 4.
- Col de Prat de Bouc (Plomb du Cantal): 7,9 km-long climb at 6,2%. Category 2.
- Col du Baladour: 4,5 km-long climb at 4,8%. Category 4.
- Col de la Fageole: 17,5 km-long climb at 2,9%. Category 2.
- Monteé des Orgues: 2,5 km-long climb at 3,9%. Category 4.

**Important Note: It's strongly recommended to install the following packs:
-PCM09_IsolatedBuildings_For_PCM13_V1.0
-Paravalanche_Barriers_For_PCM13_V1.0

Next Stage: 11-Saint-Flour - Saint-Étienne
