Rider: José Perez
General Information:
Spoiler - Nationality: Spanish
- Date of Birth: 17.03.1991
- Type of Rider: Hilly Classics/ One Week Stage Racer, like Dan Martin
- Style: Fighting
- Height: 181 cm
- Weight: 73 kg
- Bio: Born and raised in the small town Osor, near the MassÃs del Montseny, Jose cycled to and from school every day. One Day someone tipped him about a shortcut he could take, but wich would probably be too step to cycle up. He gave it as much as he could and managed it. That Day taught him two lessons: 1. He loved sprinting up climbs. 2. There was a way he could sleep for 5 more minutes every morning. As soon as he was old enogh, he went on daytrips to the nearby Pyrenees mountains and joined a local team. He started to participate in races and won nearly all the races he rode that involved steep climbs but learnt that he hated timetrials. In the 2012 Spanish U-21's Championship he broke away on the last climb and held the gap until just short of the finish line, still finishing 8th.

Bikex & Standard - You can't be anything other than Spanish or Portuguese now, other nationalities have already gone!
Ian - Loving this idea pal; any project which keeps your enthusiasm is the way forward...even if it does mean you have to move away from current stories. Though I hope to see you continue the Insights-Citigroup story further down the line.
Oh and liking the idea of the FIFA Progression addition to the story. Out of interest...will you be giving us updates when our rider hits said targets?!

Thanks for editing your riders to appropriate nationalities and thanks for helping out, anderspcm!
We have already reached 16 riders. A ProConti team holds a maximum of 25 riders, so we have room for 9 more. If nobody minds, I'd like to reserve 1 slot for sutty68, if he's interested. He's such a great help for every story writer I feel he must have the chance to participate for sure. I hope nobody feels this is unfair!
krisa - Okay, Italian, no problem

Thanks for helping out I'm definitely keeping the Citigroup save, you never know!
I'll definitely give updates when riders hit targets and get up a stat. I don't know how I'll do it, yet, though. Maybe I'll do it in a weekly review, maybe after every report. |

Well, he can just do as many races as he wants, so that everyone gets enough chances
And with 25 riders, he can give more PCMdaily members a chance to participate

I see your point, Katusha, but like Jeselyh said, I think it'd be nice to give more members a chance to join.
However, you might be correct, with 20 riders, a rider's progression will be more detailed and we concentrate on less riders so it'll go better.
I might close applications in that case, when he hit 20 members. If we hit the 2nd season, new spots would open up anyway!
