That was a huge effort by Rasmussen, Ford and Drapac the lantern rouge will be mine!
Too bad our escapee Laidler couldn't hang on with the peloton. Would have been my only chance for a decent GC-result. Now it's only about stage honours, which would be quite important to avoid a 0-pointer here.

Well that went tremendously well. Cornu staying safe and Vandousselaere too. With three in that front group I also like my odds of doing well in the team classification.
Thanks for the report!

Ahh, a shame to come close to the stage wins with no luck so far. All GC hopes are pretty much gone now, but a stage from Docker or Rowe would be pretty nice.
And, what a ride by Van Baarle. I owe Cio for this one

Beautiful sprint on the 1st stage, not so in the 2nd. 3rd? Reimer should have been there, but great job by Kennaugh hanging on. A TT obviously ruins any chances of possible GC win, but nice nonetheless. |

At least some points would be fine... So far it has been a disastrous race for Oz.

All the big chrono men are in with a shout - it is just about long enough to decide the race bar something strange on the final stage.
You'd put a bit on Zabriskie, but he has hardly been seen in the race so far. Boom, Reus and Cornu are all there to battle with him.
Looks another solid race chalked up for Rothaus, which looks likely to be one of the main headlines here. At the other end looks like a pretty lean one for Oz Cycling, Meiji, AMEX and Swedbank - not likely to ease low team ranking fears.

Thanks for the TT report nico. I fixed up the thread title too.
I hope that the GC doesn't change because 2nd, 9th and 13th is a huge result with 2nd in the team classification (so close!) and top 2 in the youth classification. I'm honestly surprised that Boom couldn't hold on to at least 2nd place here.

Zabriskie is in top shape currently, really strong ride by him. |

Poor race, going to be a tough month in August. Congrats to all winners!
Rasmussen did not benefit from nationality bonus, he's still kinda useless. But like i said before, looks like Drapac was our AI-chosen sprinter here.

Kessler on 11th, too bad Bøchman lost time earlier :/ Anyway, all points we can get from races with no leaders is a bonus

Thanks, thought I changed it
Last stage should be up within a few hours.

Thanks again for the reports, there is a great amount of detail.
Well this rave makes up for some of the recent disappointments. Congrats to Zabriskie for the overall win.

Vantomme with a 2nd stage win and Boom as 4th and Velits on a great 7th.
Great race for me even if Boom is no longer a top5 time trialist this season.
Thanks for the reports. Very nice to read.

Great reports niconico. Good race for us with no relegation rivals scoring big, bar UPC. |

I had hoped for a bit more from Kennaugh, but he's been consistent and thus grabs the points jersey. Bak's 8th place overall is quite good too. |

One of our better races in a while. This are the efforts that will keep us in the league and away from relegation.

This was awful race for Metinvest, Nolan Hoffman was nowhere, he is lacking discipline at the moment, we are currently trying to solve this issue. Nolan thinks he has done enough this year and has problems with motivation, that is not acceptable in our team.
Congrats to Zabriskie/ING and thanks for nice reports niconico.
