If the money is there they will do it.
They need two things:
1) confidence they can fill out Wembley for eight games a year, even if the team is rubbish.
2) Someone willing to pay the upfront costs.
If they have reasonable certainty of 1) then there will be someone to provide 2).
As for the travel time, have you guys every watched the Rugby Championship?

Cheers. Now to decide who to support, I'm thinking a team with little recent success and not huge expectations, so that I won't be disappointed by them.
If I were you , I would go with the Chiefs. Last season they had a horrible one (2-14), but now they have a (kinda) good QB, and still have one of the league's top 5 RBs in Jamaal Charles.
If you want a totally rebuilding team, I would probably go with the Bills, they have a good RB (C.J. Spiller), and they probably just drafted their QB of the future (E.J. Manuel), but they probably won't be good just yet. |

Where exactly do you see the Dolphins fitting into all of that, because they definitely fit jph's description.

The Dolphins are also becoming a great team to watch, I just can't cheer for them because they are becoming a legitimate division rival for my Pats |

I understand
I am just glad you like the NFL being from Hungary. Glad it is internationally spread. Just don't agree with your team choice
All honesty, I see Denver vs. Seattle/Green Bay in the super bowl this year. Nobody in the AFC can content with Denver except Baltimore or Cincinnati. I also hope Pittsburgh has a losing season.

Please...Rugby Players arent nearly as Pampered as American Football Players!
And lets not forget that in the Rugby Championship they are divided in continental divisions, so that they play a big portion of their schedule agaist teams from their own country.
(Oh and the South African Teams have complained on more than one Occasion about the long travel times for Away Games...)
Also, you raise the issue that they would have to fill out Wmbley ever game, which would be the case for the first 2 seasons, but the demand for a team in Europe just isnt there and the numbers will quickly drop from year 3 onwards... (Partly cause the American Football is a minor sport in Europe, epecially compared to Football/Soccer)
Even more so if the team is crap (which its gonna be, since it got moved), so many people will jump off the Bandwagon because the team just isnt performing good enough. If you look at Europe Closely, you have a fan culture where teams have a lot of "success fans" that only turn to the team in winning times... And using the jax as example: They will suck for quite some more time with two sub-par to mediocre at best QB's...
@Juszta: Good to see that Im not the only Pats fan around here!
@Jdog: I doubt that Baltimore or Cinci can rival Denver... They'll fight out the Division crown between them, but honestly, Cincinnati, while improving the roster every year, they still have slumped towards the end of the season and in the Post Season and the Ravens have lost A LOT of Talent to say it nicely... especially Bolden will hit them hard on Offense and the loss of Kruger is probably the most significant one on D (could have said Reed here, but he has aged and wont hurt them as much in the Longrun). And eventhough they brought in Dumervil, Kruger is a much better OLB...
Id say it will be the ususal suspects that will be close to the Broncos, as there are the Pats (they do still have brady afterall and if Ballard & Amendola can stey healthy, there you have your Hernandez and Welker Replacements. So bascally they have last years offense in all but name. Plus Ridley and Vereen are still there too...), the Colts (Ever improving, just as Cincinnati, so a force to be reckoned with) and to an extent Baltimore, but not as strong as in recent years... I wouldnt count the Teans in up there. They are too 2 dimensional in there offensive scheme and their best force on D, by miles is JJ Watt... And even he could be taken out of the game bay the better teams (even the Pats patched up O-Line could do it last year)...

Really looking forward to the Bills this year. Spiller will be used more often, the WR squad is young but opens loads of options and the D-lines seems to have improved.
Don't think EJ Manual will be starting right away. He is still struggling with some more complicated defenses in the camp. My only real concern are the CBs and maybe the Saftey if Byrd holds out.
They won't reach the playoffs just yet, but they'll definitely improve and will surprise many. Future looks bright.... (yeah... I know... ) |

Well, Manuel is your best bet to get anywhere... If he doesnt start, you guys might as well plan for the #1 pick next year, cause thats where Kolb in a new system will get you...

Everyone knows that this year is the Cowboys time to win the big one. Romo will improve and they will see success! |

I don't get this! You sit down and look at a list of team names and choose who your favorite team is!?
I'm from Europe as well. I started watching the NFL about 8 or 9 years ago. I dodn't know much about the teams/players either, but watched the games sunday after sunday. Eventually I found out that I was a Chargers fan (yeah, laugh all you want! )
My point being, that here in Europe we don't have a home state team to root for. Sit down and watch the games and suddently you'll feel in your gut who your team is...
Btw. looking at that pre-season ranking and reading that the Chargers are a 5 win team at best and that Rivers is done and past his prime... Well, IF the Chargers can avoid too many injuries this season I have a feeling they will be a wild card team. But obviously I'm biased!
