gotta think for the green jersey that Cav/Greipel wins with Sagan crashing
don't think that'll happen, Sagan to top 5 |

Wow.
If you have some spare 5 minutes sometime between now and the finish of this stage, do anything, but stay away from the cyclingnews forum.
The CN forum has long become an unbearable place full of extremely annoying fanboys who have made most of the members who had anything valuable to add in an online discussion run away from there.
I bet some are still runnning.

Breakaway
* Julien Simon (Sojasun) | * Juan Jose Oroz (Euskaltel Euskadi) | * Luis Angel Mate (Cofidis, Solutions Credits) | * Jerome Cousin (Team Europcar) | * Lieuwe Westra (Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team) |
Strong enough break, if they came to finish, Westra by far the best rider here, but I guess Simon could cause him some trouble, however this situation is very unlikely to occur anyway.

I expect the breakaway to be reeled in before the final 35k, when the course takes a turn from heading north to heading west, along the coast, when the winds come into play.
If the breakaway is not caught by then, and if the winds are heavy Westra being a strong TT'er on flat stages might stand a chance. |

The pace in the peloton will be so high because of stress/preparing for potential echelons that they will already be caught by then

I don't really expect why Westra is in the break anyway. Tomorrow is the TT, and the energy he's consuming today he could have spent tomorrow for a Top 10 (Top 5?) in the TT. |

I think Westra is just happy that the route today is not Mountainous |

Probably OPQS too early to keep Cav at the front. Lotto with another gamble paying off and having their entire train at the finish while OPQS has nobody left. |

I'm wondering if Belkin is going to try something. Rabobank was really good at playing the wind in the past. They have the riders for it (Vanmarcke, Wynants, Boom, Tankink, ...), while Team Sky does not have the best flat guys, and Froome is not experienced in this stuff afaik. They're not gonna beat Froome in the mountains or the time trial, so I hope they go for it today.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Also another thing to consider, last 150 metres down hill, and parts of the road is cobbled, whilst other part is tarmac. |

I doubt the wind will play any role today. Most of the stage has headwind until they reach the tip of Port Mer with 18 km to go. From there it's tailwind/crosswind until the finish line. The shore side of the road from where the wind comes is covered with campers for that entire stretch, sheltering the riders. |

Okay, they didn't have the best stage at Sunday, but dude, what the hell are you talking about, one of the weakest teams? |

Lopez is worth shit, same for Sivtsov. Thomas and Kennaugh are injured, Hagen climbs worse as last year.
And Porte sucked Sunday.

Maybe if you were counting just the major contenders, but not out of everyone in the Tour. Then you have to remove Peter Kennaugh and Richie Porte, otherwise it hasn't mattered much for Movistar and Saxo-Tinkoff despite having more men left.
One day they have looked strong, the other day the others got some payback and it took multiple teams.

I would say 2 as they could have had the TTT if not easing off

Most Tour leaders got yellow handlebars on their bike, yellow frames and so on. Froome.exe however got a yellow speedo/power meter. |
