Well I enjoyed the race, really had me excited throughout, thanks SN.
Obviously the crash to Cancellara was disappointing and changed the game plan but having Sibilla seemed to help and meant that Cancellara only had to do minimal work to keep up. I have to be satisfied with a 4th place, it was a tremendous battle from him and it could have been a lot worse.
Bewley took his time and delivered his move confirming his place amongst the very top cyclists in the world - this is just rewards for Milka's patient training up of the Kiwi. He could dominate in the future, but Summerhill has also impressed in this cobbled season.
I'm pleased to have 8 finishers, I note that Santander only had 3 - they are in some deep doggy mess.

A decent 5th by Ballan, a good recovery from the bad result in Ronde. All in all, the cobble season has been ok. Would have liked Fouquet to be a bit higher up though.

6th and 10th is absolutely tremendous from my guys - really doing me and the PCT proud.
Congratulations to Bewley who now has to be considered the true champion of the cobbles.

This is just awful. My goal failed, and a cobbler that's top 3 on paper, has achieved one podium in a cobbled classic in 2 seasons time. Really disappointed with how Burghardt has been performing.

OMG OMG OMG! I never thought my season could be so successfull when I finished my transfer season.. Well, big thanks to Sam Bewley, what a rider he is, thankfully, he is riding for my team..
Fantastic report SN, my goal is accomplished, totally amazing race for me, totally amazing..
It seems like it was a really good decision to train him in the off-season. My rewards will be taken especially after this season, when Sam's wage will go sky high. Coppel transfer listed, checked!

What a race and I enjoyed it a lot even as a neutral. Bewley and Cancellara both did amazingly well, though under completely different circumstances!
Can't wait for the Ardenne Classics, if they provide just halft the excitement that the cobble classics did, then we should be in for quite some racing!

I see I forgot to comment on this after reading it Sunday.
I really enjoyed it! Great racing and a deserved win by Bewley.

Two riders in the top 20. Not bad.
Now it's time for Gesink to finally shine in the Ardennes Classics.

Seeing this race now and keeping in mind last weeks real race, I guess I will try to get some cobblers next season, so I will have at least a decent squad in every race and not singling out races like P-R.
Looking forward to the ardennes classics.
