A pretty enjoyable hilly romp, with Froome flying the African/British flag cue Paul Sherwin going on and on about what a great win for Africa.
Ginanni denied the win, I still think he'll have a fairly decent year though. Gautier definitely one of the weaker leaders here that said I think Count half expected it.
A fair few teams going nil point, that always hurts.

Well that was terrible from Magna. Ilias finished 50th...and that was our best rider, lol!
Oh well, I picked the wrong C1 race to try to get some experience from!

I didn't before the season started bit clearly he is just missing something stay wise, which is strange because he is at least as good as several people who finished ahead of him. I would like a few good performances before the season ends.

Seemed like my team was just trying to lead the peloton to a bunch sprint ... which isn't the smartest thing to do with two hilly captains that can't sprint.
Sinkewitz seemed strong enough, but attacked too late. Not sure about Schreurs, but the fact that he did attack in the end shows that he did have something in the tank.
Oh well, congrats to Froome et al |

A decent race and a good report.
Ginanni wants Froome to know that he got lucky here. Franco won't be quite so inattentive in upcoming races. |

Wow, that was a very strong attack by Froome! I'll tell Weening to watch the footage. This is how you win if you're a puncheur who can't sprint.
