Great race. Congrats to BPost for the win. That was an awesome race, even without my team participating on it. Exciting all the way to the end. Be ware, Alakagom is coming here to complain about PCM logics. |

Yay, we got someone in the top 50! Poor Boeing and HTC though, feel sorry for them.
CountArach should be happy with that powerful win anyway and as always tsmoha a great report |

I got to say tsmoha, great report! There was a good overview which is not very easy in cobbled races!
Maes already showing his strength finishing third in a C1 race, lots of points for Allianz.
And what was up with the peloton, 9 minutes behind. Sucks for TMM and Thomas.

Hmm, I think Baugnies had too much drink before this race, no ?
But well, we've seen plenty of Baugnies at least. We achieve our first goal here, and I definitely hope for much better results in next cobbled races though. Looking most forward to 200km > for Baugnies though, that's where I hope he'll shine. Vanbilsen did quite well to, that's nice.

One token attempt to follow then settle down and in essence coast in! Harsh words will be said when they get back to Seattle, thats for sure!!!
Great report, did well of making sense of a chaotic race.
Congrats to the winners and those who came close

sorry for the earlier post SN... was very angry
On the plus side the AI seemed to behave what i would call normally (on the whole) and it certainly made for an exciting race.
And those rankings are interesting as well. Especially when you do it by points per race day...

Great result for me, I would never have placed money on me getting 2nd and 6th, really a great race by my team, first getting Gaudin back then managing to be the only team with 2 riders in the final. And maybe the most amazing thing was Gaudin leading out Sieberg.
@Tsmoha, you kept me sitting on the edge of my seat the entire race, really a great report.
atm 46,5 pts per raceday

Vanspeybrouck opens his account early this year and the whole team performs exactly as I need them to with Albert and Vansummeren in the top 10. Great report and superb race.
Moving in to the top 4 on points is a bonus too.

Glad to see Steegmans trying atleast, unfortunatly, attacking seems kinda worthless in PCM 12..
Hoping this one race won't reflect the whole season, because my points per race day is really bad..

Eisel was in the lead group, but that climb took the power out of his legs. Good day for AMEXpc with Eisel finishing 4th. Podium would have been more enjoyable but 4th in a high level field is good.
Breschel's 11th was questioned but I suspect that he was left back to make sure none of the peleton tried to get back into the mix. Knowing he was not burned out and a solid sprinter what would the point have been attacking once the lead 9 seperated. Play it safe protect Eisel's back and still finish high. Good day Matti.
Tallifour and Kurth snag points giving AMEX 57 for the race - the 3rd most behind powerhouse Bpost (120) and Volkswagen (93).
Excellent report and a very exciting race to follow, lots of attacking and 7 riders contending well into the last kilometer. Great stuff!
Congrats to Vanspeybrock & Bpost for the win.

A 26th for Nooytens is not what we had in mind, but we simply had no chance against the cobbled superforces. Congratulations to Vanspeybrouck, BPost and CountArach! |

Excellent report Tsmoha, following all that chaos, pity that cobble gameplay is so stupid and unrealistic in pcm12, when the favourite attacks ten times since 50kms to go and than they are empty for the sprint. Meanwhile rest of the decent cobblers is softpedalling to finish 9 minutes behind.
Congrats to BPost cobbled powerhouse, this result catapulted them closer to expected placement overall.
Flops of the day for me being Baugnies, Eisel and Boeing riders Thomas and Grashev.

How can you say that Baugnies flopped. He attacked the first time with 56k togo, he tried again at 23k togo and he countered every move of his top rival, and ultimate winner Vanspeybroeck, along the way.
When the race got really selective about 30k out he was in the top 9. At 15k Eisel tried to get away before the final climb and it dropped 2 more. He was in the final 7.
The final climb and riding aggressive all day obviously took something out of his legs, but he was still in the mix, then Sieberg, Maes and Eisel go by on the final sprint.
How easy would it have been to say my day is done, sit up and finish 7th?
He did not sit up, he did not quit. Head down he won BY 1 INCH a three way sprint with Gaudin and Jacobs to complete one of his team's goals and finished 5th.
BAD DAY? Not in my view. He raced hard and did his job. He will be a top threat in every PCT cobble race and today the rest of us should be very afraid because now we know he has Heart Stat of 80.

Well, I think I can't put this better than Mhaley just did
Points wise, it wasn't as good as I wanted to. Racing wise, it was pretty great, and he did complete our goal so I am not too sad. Most important races are E3 & Dunkerque so hopefully then he'll rather win than here.

Very exciting race and nice read.
That's a good haul of points for Maes. More than he would get for winning a C2 race!
