Pozzato might get a win or two, but he is no way near the front of riders who will win a lot. Also I think Ponzi will get a lot of top 3s but hardly any wins.

Ventoso is imo, just perfect for the PCT. Strong enough to stay with the best punchers, fast enough to beat the best sprinters. Let's hope he surprises you!
Victory ranking is both stage wins and GC wins.
That's not my experience, stages are either too hard or too easy for him, so he wins nothing.
I don't know if that will have changed in the new pcm where hilly stages now come down to a sprint, but Ventoso was more useful for me in the pro tour than the PCT.

A few names I would add to the list are:
Angel Madrazo - I would say he should win at least 5 GT stages this year.
Pieter Vanspeybrouck could well take at least 5 wins over the cobbles.
Mehr-Wenige has already won once and I can see him winning a number of more times before seasons end.
One of Zabriskie or Rogers will take a number of TT and stage race wins.
But Napolitano would be my bet for top winner.

Jerome Coppel hopefully could be included as well. Bewley will be lucky to win anything with his current form in this season.

Great addition to the MG, really good job Spilak
I hope i will see some of my boys soon in the rankings, only one who has a chance to make some impact is maybe Nolan Hoffman,i hope for at least four, five wins for him.
And i agree with some others that Ventoso, Ponzi will not probably win many and Napolitano should be definitely in the higligted names (on the other hand i hope he does not win so much)

Team rankings are now up in the first post. Schinker is missing, I know.

The Rankings are updated! Click!
Tom Boonen has strengthend his lead a bit with a victory in the Tirreno but Geschke and Trofimov are expected to overtake him in the upcoming days. (The latter doing so as I write.)
Some pre season candidates have also taken their first win: Phinney, Bellis, Bewley and Pozzato!
Rothaus domination in Thuringen has catapulted them onto the shared overal lead in the team ranking together with Hollister.
Note: I know some riders are missing from the list, Cancellara being a prime example. If you click on qoute, you will see he is there though. Something strange with the site. This same thing is also causing the strange flags...

Nice update, Nolan Hoffman straight near the top with his South Africa show.
He will go down soon, but i hope this was not his last word this season.

@fjhoekie: I think you are the favourite to have most wins from all CT teams with a sprinting squad including Maksimov, Polivda, Cardoso and Lima!
@SotD and Avin: Thanks!
I'm still puzzled who it comes some guys don't show up. Does anybody have an idea how come?

With March almost finished, here is a new update of the Victory Ranking. Some new riders made the step to the individual top 10 but Tom Boonen stays in the lead with another new win. Some fastman are starting to come close though. Davis, Bewley, Vantomme have taken multiple stage wins this month with Eibegger joinging his teammate Rohregger with 3 wins after a great Kwita Izina. Time Trialers Cornu and Zabriskie are also in the top 10 now.
The team ranking is also dominated by the same two teams as before. Rothaus kept winning through Passeron and Vantomme and so did Davis for Hollister. Other teams are already at considerable distance.

You've got Kenya Barclays Airways down as having 6 wins but in amongst the teams on 3.
Same with Boeing on 2 in with those on 1.

Fault on my side. And thanks for pointing out. It should be Magna at 6 wins instead of Kenya and Die Berg on 2 instead of Boeing. They are down in the list cause I only realised now that I forgot to add the Kwita Izina results into the Team ranking.
It's fixed.

If Lasca has two victories and Scarponi has one, then my Kappa-team should have three victories, and not two right? |
