It is just me, or the kits look more "gayish" every year now in general. I mean they are like latex suits now (yeah i know that aerodynamics are important, but in combo with that shiny materials).
Probably to draw more women to the sport, those tight suits |

Burry Stander killed in an alleged hit and run incident by a minibus taxi. Totally devastated. I don't think the world quite understands what a hero he was to young juniors like myself. Words cannot describe the immense sorrow. Good-bye, Burry. RIP.

Completely terrible. Things like this just shouldn't happen, especially to young people. RIP indeed |

That is the problem with South Africa. It is a disorganised, corrupt, 3rd-world country filled with cowards (such as the hit and run minibus-taxi driver) that have no respect for life. I wish I could call myself a proud South African, but when events like these arise, I'm afraid I am not proud to be a South African. I feel like packing my bags and moving to New Zealand, Canada or France or any first world country that is not filled with obese lunatics or a country where the average IQ is above 60.
It is disappointing to know that the very kind of people he was helping through Songo.info (poor/impoverished) was the same that ultimately took his life.
I am deeply saddened by the events of today and the legacy Burry left will stick with me forever. The hopes, dreams and inspiration he planted in the minds of young South Africans, like myself, is immortal and priceless. Heroes never die.

Terrible news about Burry. I always really liked him after I watched him winning a MTB exhibition in Prague in 2011 where I even had an opportunity to met him and change a few words with him as well...
Goodbye Burry...

Sad news indeed but hit and runs happen far to often all over the world buddy, cowards are what those hit and run drivers are

We really need a worldwide cyclist-awareness movement, too many pro's are injured or killed in accidents lately.
EDIT: and of course amateur cyclists.

Agree, so many injured or killed while training now. Not to mention the daily number of ordinary cyclists killed in traffic worldwide
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

NOS.nl has now published an interview with a second anonymous former Rabo rider who also talks about Boogerd and Luttenberger's doping and Leinders overseeing it.
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified
