Juszta, just a tip, press # before taking screenshots to remove the floating rider names

juszta
fcancellara: Thanks, glad you enjoyed!

FroomeDog99: Where is that key? I have a hungarian keyboard layout (we have some special letters), so some of the original special characters are switched around, so I don't know where it originally supposed to be. By the way, I have been pressing like all the keys to get rid of the names, but I couldn't Frown

edit: I now know how to do it, thanks kimiopn!
For the first part of the reports, which are already written, you have to deal with the floaty names, sorry about that Embarassed

Good luck with this story, it looks really interesting! I particularly like the fact you're going in with no TTers to make the mountain racing more interesting Smile

Tour de San Luis: Stage 2

Another flat stage, so the teams with sprinters have some work to do today.

s13.postimage.org/45ss45f8n/PCM0001a.jpg

Sabatini is enjoying his well-deserved jersey before the start.

s13.postimage.org/za7jl7zhj/PCM0002a.jpg

After some unsuccessful attacks, the breakaway finally formed with D.Le Lay, N.Sorensen and T.Dumoulin in it.

s13.postimage.org/qdwrha8vb/PCM0003a.jpg

Both Intermediate Sprints and the KoM Sprint were won by D.Le Lay, so he will wear the Mountain Jersey tomorrow.

s13.postimage.org/ar5i3wv3b/PCM0004a.jpg

Malori was working hard to catch the breakaway...

s13.postimage.org/ivdm8nhif/PCM0005a.jpg

...Which he managed to accomplish with the help of Garmin and Farnese-Vini. Our train was looking very confident when we were about to catch the last members of the break.

s13.postimage.org/99k1scqcn/PCM0006a.jpg

After another amazing leadout, Sabatini was able to take his second consecutive flawless stage win.

Great racing Smile

Some personal feedback, do with it as you like, just that the screenshots vary greatly. I like what you do with them but you edit them all so differently it doesn't look like a whole. If you understand what I mean? Anyway, it's your call, the writing is still very good and I enjoy it, don't take it the wrong way Wink

Miguel98
Great win and those screenshots are awesome.

Thank for all the support, constructive criticism is always appreciated.

sutty68, fcancellara: Yes, Sabatini was really on fire!

Miguel98: Thanks, glad you like them!

Ian Butler: Thank you for the feedback. I was thinking about it too, but I think I quite like it the way it is. I always try to make every screenshot as beautiful as possible and the same effect does not look good on all pictures. I try to create photos that are good to look at, and I felt like using the same effect on every one of them / not using any effects would not be quite appropriate in this style of storywriting. /You are mainly trying (and succeeding) to entertain us with the high quality of reports, I try to do the same with the pictures and the reports together/

Tour de San Luis: Stage 3

A hilly finish, we are in definate danger of losing the GC lead with Sabatini.

s2.postimage.org/vusf6zl2h/PCM0001b.jpg

It was an absolutely chaotic day, Malori was one of the riders who decided to attack in the first part of the race. Here he is leading his companions in the biggest ascend today.

Spoiler
Damn, forgot to take off the circle...

s13.postimage.org/h12npwesn/PCM0002b.jpg

They were caught soon after, but as you can see, there were some casualities at the first hill of the day. The peloton got reduced to 59 riders.

The end of the race was basically a mess, it was raining attacks on the last ascent, but Rabottini managed to snatch the victory, and the jury decided that there was a gap between him and the second rider. The photo was sadly lost, so there is no way to question his decision.

Sabatini is finished in the main bunch, but he lost the Leaders Jersey by 1 second to Rabottini. However, he still holds the Points Jersey with a 14 points lead to Pietropolli.
Tomorrow is be the Time-Trial, so we can expect some time gaps to be formed.

Tour de San Luis: Stage 4

The Time-Trial. We expect specialists, such as Malori move up in the GC quite a bit.

s9.postimage.org/miab2x9dr/PCM0001.jpg

First rider to set an acceptable time was Garmin's Andrew Talansky

s9.postimage.org/tk88p4czj/PCM0002bodnar.jpg

Closely after him came M.Bodnar from Liquigas, who took over the provisional first place from Talansky

s9.postimage.org/mshtm9nzz/PCM0003.jpg

However, Garmin sent some reinforcements, Navardauskas beat Bodnar's time by 2 seconds.

s9.postimage.org/o69ghkn9b/PCM0004.jpg

Then came Garmin's king of the doping.... I mean Time-Trialing: Thomas Dekker, who crushed his teammate's time by 11 seconds.

s9.postimage.org/6rp89aq4f/PCM0005.jpg

Our only hope, Malori rode really well, taking provisional second place, only 3 seconds behind Dekker

s9.postimage.org/48yxuvf0f/PCM0006.jpg

Sabatini gave it all, but he still lost almost a minute to Dekker.

s9.postimage.org/j3nj91olb/PCM0007.jpg

Rabottini did even worse in the Orange Jersey, he took +1'11 from T.Dekker

The GC

s9.postimage.org/jf4zlt51b/PCM0008.jpg

Sabatini remains in the top 10, but Malori steps onto the podium for a nice provisional 3rd place... But wait, there is more!

s9.postimage.org/dpor1hyv3/PCM0009.jpg

Malori takes the White Jersey by a 1 second margin over Boaro.

Tomorrow we will give it all to defend Malori’s jersey and minimalize his losses in the GC.

fernando97
Great stage, the team is really doing well in San Luis. Hope to see Sabatini back in business in the remaining flat stages. Wink

Ian Butler
Great riding by Malori. Though that victory for Rabottini made me real happy Grin

juszta
fernando97: Thanks! You don't have to wait a lot to find out if Sabatini can achieve something in the remaining flat stages Wink

Ian Butler: Indeed, Malori did his best. And yes, it was a well-deserved win for Rabottini Wink

Tour de San Luis: Stage 5

We expect to lose some time on the uphill finish, but we are aiming to keep our White Jersey and podium place.

s8.postimage.org/r2ivyined/PCM0001.jpg

We kept the pack together for the two Intermediate sprints, and Malori took the points, so he could test his legs a bit.

s8.postimage.org/ms482xib9/PCM0002.jpg

Some (pseudo-)favourites tried to attack early, but we managed to hunt them down with the help of BMC

s8.postimage.org/v7tskfl6d/PCM0003.jpg

The peloton entered the last and decisive hill together. Brambilla gave it all to defend Malori.

s8.postimage.org/z2sl99eyd/PCM0004.jpg

But the Time-Trial specialist couldn't go with the big guys all the way. He dropped back to the peloton and crossed the line in there.

s8.postimage.org/3uk0bxp85/PCM0005.jpg

Hincapie took a confident victory in the Orange Jersey to further increase his lead. Favilli sprinted for a nice 4th place.

The GC is pretty much decided, Hincapie is looking very confident to win this year's race in Argentina. Malori managed to keep his third place and the White Jersey, but moving up further seems rather impossible. There are two flat stages remaining, so our sprinters are preparing their legs!
