I know - I forgot about that when I was compiling my draft list

Rojas signs with Nintendo-Ambuja!
Although the results from the draft did not go in our favour; we are still very pleased to announce that the Spanish sprinter Jose JoaquiÂn Rojas Gil has signed on a one-year contract with us. He will surely win some sprints at Pro Continental level and hopefully with some good lead-out men coming; he will be able to push for the points jersey in some tours.

Young gun snapped up by Nintendo-Ambuja!
The talented young Dutch rider Steven Kruijswijk has signed with Nintendo-Ambuja on a 2-year contract. Steven is up amongst the best under-25 climbers in professional cycling at the moment and we are very happy to have him onboard and his arrival means that we will be able to challenge for the Young Rider jersey in several races this year.

Spilak is sixth signing for Nintendo-Ambuja!
Slovenian climber Simon Spilak has agreed a three-year deal with Nintendo-Ambuja. He will provide great help in the mountains for our leaders Roman and Denis; and provides a good all-round package for the team. We are very pleased to have him on board.

WEEKLY UPDATE #1
Time to introduce our Weekly Update; where we summarise all the goings on at Nintendo-Ambuja over the past week. It's not a fully fleshed-out magazine, just an update. As you know; there is now a break in the drafting so we can all go and celebrate Christmas (Merry Christmas to all those fans out there ) so this is a perfect time to recount what has happened in the draft so far.
We are really pleased at our progress so far in signing all our riders. We have gained two excellent leaders in Roman Kreuziger and Denis Menchov. With Roman at the front of our team, we believe that we can challenge the World Tour teams in any World Tour stage races that we are given a wildcard into. Denis will act as a mentor for the younger members of the team; an area we will look to fasten on to in the next few rounds of the draft. With the addition of Steven Kruijswijk to challenge for Young Rider jerseys and also the GC in some events, and an excellent climber in Simon Spilak, we should be a force to be reckoned with in the Pro Continental Tour stage races. But to prove we're not a one-dimensional team, the signing of the Spanish National Champion and top-class sprinter Jose Joaquin Rojas is a great boon and he looks to be amongst the best in the CT at the moment. Last but not least is Rudy Verboven, who at the age of 22 will surely mature into a really great classics rider in a few years with the help of [hopefully] some other classics riders to come.
DK's Pearl of Wisdom: Great squad so far, just a shame there wasn't an opportunity to sign 'The Gorilla' Greipel

Hey fans!
The team has done some drafts now, and I have to say, our manager did a great job! A few legendary GC guys such as Menchov, Kreuziger, Spilak and Kruijswijk! Also Rojas will give us many stage wins. There is still no other classic racer yet though, so it seems the manager has a lot of faith in me. I'm hoping I can live up to the expectations, but it does make me a bit nervous.
Anyway, I can't stop looking forward to the first training camp with these guys. Uphill I can learn a lot from them. At the moment I'm behind them a lot, but I hope I can improve over the seasons. Just need to train even harder!

WEEKLY UPDATE #2
The staff and riders at Nintendo-Ambuja would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy new year. We hope that this year will bring many successes for the team and hope that you as fans enjoy watching our team perform.
There has not been any transfer activity since the past update but there will be some major changes to report in our 3rd update.
DK's Pearl of Wisdom: I am pleased to announce my secondary role in the team, the official food provider. Our riders will have the highest quality bananas available

First of the Germans for Nintendo-Ambuja!
Due to our base in Germany we are required to have some Germans in the team and so today we can announce the first of our German contingent - Marcus Burghardt. Marcus has signed on a one-year contract and will lead the cobbled races, along with Rudy. He has had some good results in the cobbled classics over the years and will be a valuable addition to the roster

Hey cycling fans!
The team is really coming together now! We drafted some exciting new names, of which the most recent one was Marcus Burghardt. I hope to learn a lot from him, as he's more or less the same type I am, only with loads of experience. He does the cobbles a bit better, while I'm slightly better uphill. Also, my youth gives me a bit more speed in the end. Looking forward to work with him, and hopefully we can get something done in the classics!

It's a double whammy for Nintendo-Ambuja!
After a double round, we can now reveal our two latest signings - Tomasz Marczynski and Hubert Dupont. Both of them will be excellent climbing domestiques during a possible GT (if we get an invitation); which means our orientation is definitely towards climbing now.
Tomasz, apart from possibly being the only professional cyclist with seven consecutive consonants in his surname, is a great climber and is the ideal candidate for KoM jersey's over the course of the season due to his high mountain climbing skills and his tenacity as a fighter. He signs a two-year contract.
Hubert is another excellent climber to have on board and as one of the older members of the team his insight will be very valuable indeed. Having consistently finished inside the top 20 in Grand Tours over the past year he will know what it is like to master the 21 stages.

DOPPEL DOSE OF DEUTSCHERS!
Another double round concluded today and we profited greatly from the round, gaining two more German names to add to the squad. First up is Paul Martens. We have signed him on a 1-year contract. Paul is a fantastically all-round rider, he's best in the hills so will be a great member of the team for hilly classics; but he can time-trial fairly well and will be a good lead out man for both JJ Rojas and our next man...
... who is Rudiger Selig! The second Rudy to join the team; Selig is a very promising young sprinter and will be our secondary sprinter and lead-out man for Jose in important events. He has signed a 2-year contract.
