Ok, Is it just me or has this new server gotten a lot slower in the last 2 days?
When the server was switched, I actually noticed an improvement in the speed of the site, but in the las t 2 days, this has gone to shit! I mean, that the loading times are even SLOWER than the old server, which the site only occupied for some odd days...
Just so you know what Im talking about:
The log on which consists of two loading phases takes up to 30 secs. 2-3 for the first phase (the log on screen) and about 28 seconds just to load the front page.
Opening the general overview of the Discussion Forum takes abou 30 seconds, same as every subcategory and every thread takes 40+ seconds, if not over a minute...
Am I the only one experiencing this?
PS: It cant be my internet, cause I can open all the other forum sites like pcmfocus and france without any problems. Top of that, I can stream Movies on my computer with out any delay for Buffering...
EDIT: Starnge, At times its working as smooth as ever...

I have also found it very slow at times, but I cant really complain. The site is back up and running, and most features work again.
Mike said they are looking into optimization, so its possible they are just tweaking some stuff, and it hasn't worked out etc.

For the last 15min it was pretty fast. Between 800ms and 2s maximum. So hopefully it will stay like this. |

I have had the same problem, but for about half an hour I have had rendering times under a second
If they are tweaking right now its seems to be working...

It is shockingly inconsistent
For periods it normal 1-3seconds to load stuff
Then for periods it takes up to a minute... thats annoying
Then for different periods it can take well over 1 minute, yesterday evening it took me over 5 minutes to load a page!!!
Having all the features back doesnt matter if they dont load up.
This strikes me as more than an optimization issue, worryingly.
