Metinvest riders Smigunov and Kostjuk could move to the other Ukrainian team. After Metinvest's manager anounced they wouldn't be welcome for the pre-season trainingcamps they decided to try and get in contact with Team Privatbank.

After several days of media silence Eurosport Ukraine heard from a reliable source, who is said to have broken into the team's mailbox, that he found a mail with several names in it. The most notable name was Vitaliy Popkov. Metinvest already announced he wasn't one of their targets because he wanted to be a teamleader.
Also Portugese climber Ricardo Mestre's name was on the list found in one of the mails btween the CEO of PrivatBank and Gontchenkov. Henrique Madeira Casimiro, another Portuge climber also had his name listed.
Some names even had 'ANY COST' as a description-like text with them. Those names are Polivoda, Adamou, Kononenko, Komkov and Broco.
We'll have to wait and see if any of this is true, but it seems pretty legit.
-Denys Kulyk.

Might be worth saving 'un-official' goals for the target races element (assuming it's still in?) to avoid confusion

Nice goals, best luck to achieve them.
Well, besides Race Horizon Park, you are not winning it, Metinvest is, but top 5 is okay
And we will meet at your other goal races too probably...

Seems like a nice list, surprisingly we meet on interest only for three riders, Gomenyuk, Buts and Prevar, the latter one is one of our prime targets, the first two are not so high profile possible signings.

This morning Team PrivatBank's office was filled with Ukrainian press, the board and a cyclist! Yes, it's true we signed our very first rider. He's among the best Ukrainian sprinters and we hope he will bring our team successes. He is just 26 years old and has a bright future ahead of him.
Now you probably want to know who this is. Well we can say he was our biggest target and he agreed to a wage of just 50,000. His name is ofcourse: OLEKSANDR POLIVODA, also known as 'Poli'
This afternoon the team will reveal any other signings.

DAVID CHOKHELI
This Georgian 28 year old will be a domestique in the hills. He joined to accomplish the goal of getting a rider from all countries PrivatBank is based.
Wage: €50.000
ARTURS ANSONS
29 Year old Latvian who can survive some cobbles. He's better at sprinting and will be one of the team's lead out men.
Wage: €50.000
VOLODYMYR GOMENYUK
Will be a lead out during the season. Also he hes the punch to get some good results himself
Wage: €50.000
MARCO ALEXANDRE FERREIRA CUNHA
Guy with a long name. 26 Years old and bought because of his fighting spirit, he should be in quite some breaks.
Wage: €50.000
OLEKSANDR PREVAR
Prevar is a young Ukrainian talent, he will be loaned out for this season.
Wage: €50.000
MARIOS ATHANASIADES
Ciprian time trialist, 27 years old. He’ll be helping our leaders staying in the front during important races.
Wage: €50.000
OLEKSANDR POLIVODA
You may remeber that he was our main target, and we signed him! Poli is a great sprinter and we are sure he can help us reach our goals.
Wage: €50.000
FILIPE CARDOSO
Another sprinter capable of winning. He also can survive hills pretty well.
Wage: €100.000
VITALIY BUTS
Ukrainian all-rounder. He can sprint quite well and will be a lead out man, but also his time trial abilities are quite good.
Wage: €50.000
EDUARD VORGANOV
Probably a surprise that the Russian champion signed for a Continental team, but we are very happy to have him. He can win some hilly races. We bought this rider from Simply Red Bull.
Wage: €65.000
CESAR ANDRE FONTE
Portugese equivalent of Buts, capable of doing great stuff in various races. Only difference: Fonte can’t sprint but will get better over the hills. He will be a luxury team mate.
Wage: €75.000
BRUNO LIMA
Portugese sprinter with the acceleration of an Italian sports car. He will lead the team in some flat races, but can also be used as a lead out.
Wage: €65.000
ARTEM TOPCHANYUK
One of Ukraine’s best climbers. He will try to win some races where the climbs get long and steep, we are confindent is his capabilities.
Wage: €75.000
ROMAN MAKSIMOV
Loaned from CSC-Orbea, this Russian guy will beo ne of the fastest guys in the CT. He won\t get over speed bumps so we hope he can win some pancake-flat races.
Wage: €300.000 (CSC-Orbea will pay half of it)

Some excellent, excellent signings there, and you still have room for one more good one.
You've clearly gone for strength in depth, while none of you're signings are outright stars (sorry Maksimov and Mestre) they are easily capable of top 5 placements in the races that suit them. I think there will be many PCT teams jealous of some of the 50,000 domestiques you were able to sign!

We managed to get some more deals.
Artem Topchanyuk
Artem will be loaned out to Aker-MOT this season to fully reach his potential.
Wage: €75,000, we pay all of it.
Anatoliy Sosnitskiy
Young promising rider, we loaned this guy from our fellow Ukrainian team, Metinvest-Emirates.
Wage: €50,000, Metinvest will pay all of it
Mykhaylo Kononenko
Mykhaylo will be our best stage racer, he can climb fairly well and can keep up against the clock, he will play a vital role in some races.
Wage: €75,000
So our second best climber will leave the team for this season, but we are sure it won't cost us our goals.

Daniel Hoelgaard
Daniel is an all-round rider from Norway. We loaned him from Aker-MOT who think letting him ride in the CT for one season would be good for his development.
Wage: €150,000, will be paid by Aker-MOT
Volodymyr Dzhus
Dzhus is one of Ukraine’s most promising climbers. We loaned him from our partners, Metinvest-Emirates.
Wage: €50,000, will be paid by Metinvest
Nicolae Tanovitchii
Another rider from Metinvest-Emirates. He shows potential to become a good hill rider. This season we will train him.
Wage: €50,000, will be paid by Metinvest
So now we have an 18 man roster, which means we are nearing completion very fast. We are very happy with the way this transferseason is going and hope for similar results when the races actually start.

Ricardo Mestre
This Portugese climber has a lot of experience and his age (30) shows that. His climbing abilities are very good, he will struggle on shorter climbes though. He isn’t a particularly good timetrialler but he should be able to keep the losses at a minimum.
He is essential to meet some of our goals, like the top 10 goal of Turul al Romaniei, a 9 day stage race in Romania.
Mykhaylo Kononenko
One of the better stage racers in Ukraine. He can’t climb as well as Mestre but he can win some time on his main rivals when facing the clock. He’s only 27 years old and he’s a part of a long term plan to raise the popularity of cycling in Ukraine.
He is also essential for us as he should be a good point scorer.
Eduard Vorganov
National champion of Russia. Our oldest rider, but that certainly doesn’t mean he’ll ride like your granddad. His talent is mainly in the hills and therefore we hope he can win some stages himself and help our two climbers when needed.
While not essential to meet our goals, we are delighted to have Eduard and hope he can score some points.
Roman Maksimov
Most definately one of the fastest guys in the entire continental tour. This Russian is on loan from CSC-Orbea. He doesn’t like hills very much but in the right conditions he is able to outsprint everyone in C2 races.
He’ll be valuable for us when it comes to meeting some of our sprintergoals
Oleksandr Polivoda
He was our big target at the start of the transfers, and he agreed a contract with minimum wage. He is probably the best sprinter from Ukraine and he’ll be an idol for many children in Ukraine, encouraging the mto start with this wonderful sport.
Oleksandr will try to meet both our goals in Ukraine, and we believe he is up to the task.
Bruno Lima
Portugese sprinter with a huge acceleration. This guy will be able to win stages throughout the season and score some points.
He’ll get his chances and will help our main sprinters to accomplish their goals.
Filipe Cardoso
Fast sprinter with a small extra: the skill to survive hills. We know riders like him can win win difficult stages when other sprinters are dropped or too tired to sprint.
He’ll try to win stages himself aswell as helping our other sprinters in more important races.
Volodymyr Gomenyuk
Ukrainian lead out man. He will help Polivoda and Maksimov.
Arturs Ansons
Our only Latvian. He can sprinte fairly well and when needed he can cross some cobbled sections.
Vitaliy Buts
Good sprinter from Ukraine, he will help our better sprinters. He can also beat the clock when needed, useful in TTTs.
Cesar Andre Fonte
Not quite good enough to lead our team, yet too good to be a domestique. This Portugese puncheur will try to get some decent results himself.
Marios Athanasiades
Cyprus’ best time trialist. He will be useful to keep our leaders and sprinters at the front.
Marco Alexandre Ferreira Cunha
Loves to attack, can finish huge solos and help our leaders when not attacking.
David Chokheli
Our Georgian rider. He will mainly help our climbers.
Daniel Hoelgaard
On loan from Aker-MOT. We believe he could become a good climber/sprinter/puncheur in the future, however we don’t know what Aker’s manager plans to do with this rider.
Anatoliy Sosnitskiy
On loan from Metinvest-Emirates, who think he would progress better in the continental tour.
Volodymyr Dzhus
Also on loan from Metinvest. Talented climber.
Nicolae Tanovitchii
Moldovan rider on loan from Metinvest. He should be a decent puncheur within some years time.
Oleksandr Prevar
Loaned out to Metinvest to gain experience at a higher level of cycling
Artem Topchanyuk
Loaned out to Aker-MOT to gain experience on the highest possible level.
Oleksandr Golovash
Oleksandr will stay riding at his amateur club until August, he wanted this to not leave his teammates, who would lose their leader. He could become a sprinting time trialer.
So this is our team for the 2013 season. We hope to win some races and maybe create friendships with other teams.

Nice presentation, just two mistakes to point out.
Tanovitchii is from Moldavia, not Romania and more important, Polivoda is going nowhere near the win at Horizon Park!
