Yes, much better to wait on the Team HQ thread until you have something good to put in it.
As Rjc says, making a thread that contains only 'Reserved' posts, like MrDemus has just done, is a complete waste of time and does not reflect well on him at all.

There wasnt really any reason to post at all until the first post was done though

I would also advise people to put a link to their team thread in their signature, or at least state which team they are from. It will make it easier to keep a track of everyone with the new, much expanded, game.

Another point:
Transfer arrangements, discussing loan deals, sealing any thing at all to do with a transfer or movement of a rider, prior to the commencement of the transfer period is not allowed.
Rumours, as can currently be seen on Team threads, public enquiries to see if riders are available for loans or transfers, fine. All part of the fun of the game.
PMing me inquiring things if you're new is not the way to do it. Nor is putting shit posts on my team thread.

It seems like Central Europe has become popular! The "battle" between the German teams will definitely be one to watch in the transfer season.
I only hope there won't be more Scandinavian or Norwegian teams
