SKY LOOK FOR MOUNTAIN STAR |
Sky is looking for a mountain star at any price. Any team managers with unwanted mountain riders can PM team manager FroomeDog99.
Flecha is rumored to be upset at sky and has been told he can leave in a deal for a mountain star as part of a deal also.

Quickstep broke the transfer record today. The 40.000 deal for Flecha beats the previous record of 40.000 for Breschel+Boom.
This is Quicksteps 14th Signing! How many more can there be! Quickstep are looking like the team to beat on cobbles with the trio of Chavanel, Boonen and Flecha leading the way.
Sky are in the market for a big name climber, and the 40k will go a long way towards securing that.
All those involved are happy with the deal that will benefit both teams and the rider.

Lampre had to decline a big offer on Cunego today. Rumours are that the Astana Pro Cycling dropped it's eye on Cunego. As Cunego and Scarponi are the two main riders of the team it's highly unlikely they would be sold.
Rumours are also that Nibali would fancy a move to Lampre. Nobody knows what Liquigas thinks about that... |

Pro Team Astana buying a star?!
Rumours have been around for a while now that Pro Team Astana are trying to sign a GT canidate, since they noticed their current team just can't compete with the best. We will keep you updated.
LIVE: We heard from several sources that Astana wanted to sign Damiano Cunego, and made an offer of 60,000 TC (!), but the offer was declined and now they are desperate in finding a GT-contender before the season starts.

Letrik says: Radioshack bid on Contador
The transfer window is open, and some big names have already changed teams. Radioshack has sold big names like McEwen and Kloden, and is therefore looking to improve their squad. Still it came as a surprise when LeTrik revealed that Radioshack had a bid on Contador: ''I was contacted by Radioshack manager, Fernando, and he said he wanted to buy Contador for 100k. We said no, Contador is our main man!'' Said LeTrik and ended the interview.

BREAKING NEWS!
Cunego joins team Astana for monster-offer
Pro Team Astana's DS, fcancellara, has just confirmed the team signed Lampre's Damiano Cunego for a gigantic offer of 70,000 TC. But that is not all, Frederik Kessiakoff replaced Cunego at Lampre. This is an incredibly high, record breaking, transfer bid, so we hope for Astana that Cunego manages to at least repeat his Giro success of 2004.

Cunego off to Astana!
Today Cunego has been sold to Astana. The Lampre manager said that the offer was too high to deny. An astonishing recordbreaking 70k and Kessiakoff did the trick. Rumours are that Lampre is now looking for a new leader. |

Langeveld big shot
Rabobank team manager SSJ2Luigi conforms that Sebastian Langeveld is going to leave the team. when this was announced on the offical manager's meeting teams couldn't wait to try to sign Langveld. SSJ2Luigi wouldn't reveal what teams are in the running stating: "It would be disrespect full, if they have an eye on Sebastian let them come out"

Seems to be a some talk about my cobbles team
So far its Boonen, Chavanel, Flecha, Terpstra, Steegmans, Keisse, Van Kiersbulck, Seiberg, Lang, Millar, Tosatto, Ghyselinck, Smukulis, Vermote, Stybar, Maes, Morkov...
Yeah, thats quite good...
Same can be said for my sprint team
My climbing team however is lacking...

Will Basso Leave Liquigas?
According to an inside source in Liquigas-Cannondale's team, Ivan Basso seems to be on the outs. Liquigas repotedly had been offered offers from 20k to 50k. It seems like Liquigas will deal Basso if good cobblestone or mountain rider becomes a part of a deal involving him. Liquigas has had a good trasfer season and letting go of Basso would certainly mean a big deal would be in the making.

Rumors are circulating that Quickstep is in the market for one final rider...
Not clear yet whether it is a cobbles rider or a sprinter, but it is known that they are targeting someone who can ride well on the flat.
Apparently bids have gone in on two riders, with a third in the waiting
